Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm more than willing to bet that while you haven't said anything directly to him, the fact that you make such "jokes" like this quite often is on his nerves (correct me if I'm wrong here Ryan). I don't find them very funny either. You'll probably catch on as to why in about 10 years.
 
Tom, you haven't offended me. I don't post often, but I do have eyes and can read some of the things you say. I just think its worth a shot at toning down the sarcasm, jokes, and randomness. Not everyone has the same sense of humor. I agree, if you keep everything on a mature level, I and others that feel this way will then think otherwise. This is a great forum filled with some great people, lets keep it that way.

If you have anything else to say you can PM me. I feel bad about Jeremy's post.
 
Penn & Teller are entainers. They entertain via magic, comedy and satire. They have a program on showtime called Bullsh!t. In the course of the show they do interviews with people( usually extremists) and then basicly break them down and make fun of them. It is a pretty funny show for people who have common sense. They were at a reptile show that I do and I was asked to do an interview. I consented and did about a 15 minute on camera interview. All but 2 seconds of my interview was scrapped. My theory was that they could not find a good way to make fun of me. lol They did however manage to make fun of a few of the other vendors there. I'm sure if you did a search for Penn & Teller better info will come up then what I presented.

Jeremy, I'd always thought your hand had potentials!! Even the producer can't resist your hand! ;)

I wish I could see that show, but chances are low that it'll broadcast here...:(

Man, all the good stuff is on channels that I don't get. :rolleyes: Better to have a hand and gecko immortalized for a few brief seconds than to look like a complete idiot for all to see - in my opinion, anyway! ;) Wish I could check that out!

Congrats Jeremy! I almost had a chance to be on TV too, but it didn't pan out. Last year Mo Rocca was at the Reptile Expo in NY while I was selling some Leos and my wife happened to notice him strolling past our table. I didn't think it was him at first but then when I saw the camera crew tailing him I had to admit she was right (AGAIN)....lol. Anyway, he didn't interview me but I know he was filming a bit for Animal Planet. Of course I never did catch the episode and wish I had.
 
OK, i just saw the episode, it was a super hypo right? well i like how they showed the green andaconda tring to bite the man......that is goign to do great things for the pet trade! :ack2:

They usually try to find complete freaks/morons for that show. I guess only your hands were freaky enough for them... LOL ...I mean, look how huge they are on screen. :raspberry You must have come across as too sane for their liking.
