    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm pretty upset about this!

:angry:So... I was recently looking at a popular forum in the classifieds and and ran across a name i recognized:shootfoot. I clicked on the link to see what they were trying to sell to some poor unsuspecting person. I then decided to see what their other classified ads were for. one of them (the very last one) was an ad stating that they were looking to buy reptiles whether they were feeding or not "just let us know honestly about feeding habits".:angry: I'm not too sure they would be honest with their unsuspecting customer. I'm pretty sure they are not going to get the animal(s) feeding. I'm thinking they want to know about how long they have to sell the animal before it dies.
does this upset anyone else?

James, it would depend on the context. Who is buying what and for what purpose. People buy unstarted clutches and litters every year at a discount compared to already feeding neonates. There are those that prefer to take the risk that they will have some that are bad feeders to receive a discount.

Agree or not, they usually don't buy them to see if they can sell them before they die.

Although I don't know if this scenario could apply to whomever you are talking about, but anyone in this business/hobby out to move non-feeding animals before they die would not last long. Or at least enough people will know about them that their reputation will be completely shot.
There are also a host of reasons why people will take take non-feeding neonates of different species including using some as feeders for other animals.
I guess it would depend on if the person has a history of selling poor quality animals and knowing if in fact they were reselling the poor feeders dishonestly. Then I think most would be willing to burn them at the stake or make them wish that we only stopped there. :yesnod:

Hi Dennis your words are encouraging, but having seen this person with poor quality animals, I have to wonder if he would be selling non feeding snakes to the public. I would hope this person is buying them to use as feeders or to get them started, but seeing what I have seen with this person it just upsets me to see an ad like this.
