    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi, My name is Danny Brown. I live in Queensland, Australia. I am nearing completion of a 1200 pages, 3000 image book on Australian Lizards that I have been working on for the last 9 years but I have hit a hurdle. Until very recently, neither leatherback or silkback beardeds existed in this country. I have been able to get photographs of limited hatchlings but, as no adults yet exist, I cannot get photos of adult leatherback or silkback beardeds locally. If anybody has clear photos of silkback babies, silkback adults or leatherback adults that they would like to see published, along with full acknowledgement and website listing at the front of the book, then I would appreciate your help. The catch is that I need the photos within the next few days (by the 8th July at the latest) as the graphic artist is breathing down my neck to place images. Images would need to be preferably 1mb or bigger and can be emailed to [email protected] .
Regards
Danny Brown

Nobody able to help in exchange for free advertising in a book that will sell all over the world?

Danny

Hi Danny,

It's just that you picked a bad time to ask for images. Most people on this forum are in the United States and we're celebrating Independence Day today (so, lots of parties, cookouts, fireworks, drinking, etc.). I'm not sure how much time you've got, but people should be filtering back online by Friday. I would help but I don't keep any bearded dragons.
