• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I am so sick of people that send emails in the middle of the night and get upset when you don't immediately reply (I replied in the morning) or the ones who send mulitple emails during the day (while I am at work) and get pissy because you didn't reply until later in the day.
You know what. :censored: You!
I don't need a sale from you.
Lately it seems that a lot of people expect you be there the instant they send a message and I am really getting tired of it.

Figures. A kid home on a snow day. Have your mommy and daddy contact me. I don't sell to minors anyway. Looks like this kid needs some ritalin!

Yea I get what your saying. I had a 50 min class(im in college), and by the time I got out of class i had 4 emails from one guy getting worried that I had already sold the snake. I was like chill I had class, and then he got offended and went off, so I said Im no longer interested.
People do have other things to do, and other interests then just reptiles. And some dont have email on their phones to check every min. People need to calm down!

Dude, or texts late at night. They keep texting because they think you are ignoring them. Christ, it's 11pm on the west coast and I live on the east. If there is any chance of me being up that late on a weekday, I'm probably to high on crack to reply.

I'm impatient...do you hate me now, too, Steve?

There are some people that are addicted to connection...they've got just about every aspect of their life plugged into their phone, and they are constantly messing with them.
Then, there are people like me...I recently got a smart phone, and it's a new toy that I'm having fun with. I set it up so I can access both my personal and business emails, but only the business email is on a automatically checked. I've gotten better about carrying it - probably having it on my person about 75% of the time that I leave my house - and I tend to charge it when I notice it getting low, too. I still have the same basic outlook, though; so, most of the time, the ringer and notifications are turned off.
I have to say that since I moved, I am worse about checking messages on the house phone. I probably check/clear those once/month.

If it's so smart, Harald, why don't you set it up to answer your emails with an automatic message?

Because business is business - I want my responses appropriate to the message. Besides, most auto-response are useless. If somebody requires an answer that says Your email has been received. I'll probably get back to you soon; but if you don't here from me within 48 hrs, please try again....chances are they'd just tick me off, anyway.

Off topic but Harald could you shoot me over some photos of the dragons for you cages that you had looked like. Specifially how the doors are setup in relation to the front of the cage. Hurry now....I don't have all day....LOL.

Cages are long since smashed into tiny pieces and sent off with the garbage collection. Any pics of them would be on the computer that was at the other house - dead and gone.

I've been praying for more patience for a very long time now... He sure is taking His time. Seems like it's been at least a month, and yes, I know... I've been told to not exaggerate like a million times.

I can't stand that crap, some people just can't seem to wait for anything. I work in an office building (very similar to office space of the show the office) and i'm in and out of meetings a lot of the times so i can't be picking up the phone everytime someone calls. Just the other day i had someone call me 5 times in an hour regarding my coastal carpet i'm selling. I almost snapped....
