In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I think this is why...he was busy and got tired of the BS that was going on.

hy i am alessandro,
i am not disappeared, i was just away due to mu "normal" life.
when i started to see agian the forum i was a litlle bit surprised because there were lot of bad thing coming from a different way of reading and understanding things. and i am a little bit disappointed. when i was thinking to answer again then the quality of the thread went down. i decided to not answer. now as i like to be transparent i am here again

Ohhhhh, once again....sorry!

1) someone of you have put a part of a discussion translated from an iotalian forum, the strange thing is that someone of you have put a part of the discussion with a bad translation and not knowing the whole discussion. the discussion was about breeding two related animals and my answer was given in a ironic way saying that:it was possible to breed two brother but then they could arise problem like deformities, or if they do not apper, problem wiht the longevity of the animals, wiht the breeding result etc.etc. making a summary i was telling them that inbreedin was a big mistake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
from now on if you want to puit a discussion present in another forum please be sure of the content.

This is part of what Alessandro said. Now the way I take it is he said you CAN inbreed but he is not saying it is right.

Jim.

Hello

Hello,

Tere, Denise, Wendy & others, & yes, Jamie, you all have done ALOT of work since I was on a day or so ago. I was shocked when I was reading through the posts.
Since I am not a breeder, but a hobbyist who has only been around dragons about 4 years now, I was waiting for things to happen like they are starting to.
It is going to take lots of work, & cooperation, but, if you all are serious enough to put differences aside, then, I don't see why things would not get taken care of at least to gather data & see what happens from there.
That is extremely generous of you Tere & Denise & Wendy to share all of your information with us. I am truly sorry for everything that you all have had to go through, as I know though, that the dragons are all in excellent hands for now on.
We all want answers, & this is the only way that it will get done, is to gather data from as many people as possible, & put it all together. Remember, our goals should all be the same, to enhance & preserve the species that we are all so passionate about.
I am very happy with the direction that this thread has taken, finally!!!!!!!!
Let's keep it up, ok?

I have a Neverland Dragon as most already know that is positive for Adeno.. I knew this Before I brought him home. I have always wanted a Neverland Dragon because they are Healthy,Hearty,Handsome and he has quite the personality.

Then the post hit Fauna of what she had experienced in her colony... I again wrote asking questions about babies and her Dragons. I received a response and was told no more babies available.. I wrote again if by chance was to come about It did and I came home with HB and full disclosure, have had the best and all available information that she could and still does provide.
She is an exceptional Lady and I am sad this heart breaking and emotional rollercoaster is still going on for her.

I learned from her and have seen what she provides and it is the best...Still is the best care for the dragons that can be given she does not do short cuts. Some People would be envious if they had her breeding room.

I have always kept HB Henry on shelf liner, I would throw it out because of the Av if he pooped on it. really I did .. I also have a 4 x 2 x 2 Lair with mbv 60 megaray light and a full spectrum 36" inch bulb and he has a halogen floodlight over the basking spot
No wood at all ,no sand ever. He has rocks to climb on... I did get a steam cleaner to clean the Lair as I did have coccida problems and I was told by a couple Ladies that have already posted this would get rid of it. It did with medication for an extended period of time.

Wendy - Tere and Denise have been put through the ringer on this issue and people still ask Questions for them to ANSWER !!

And they do with Truth and Truth And more Truth...

But sadly I and other have asked questions and they never get answered you know who you are

I think Denise has a great Idea and I would be more than happy to give her my results of HB Henry's fecal"s and any information and data that I have SO a DATA base can be Started for Adenovirus in Bearded Dragons.

In the effort that we may never forget what has happened at Neverland Dragons and Obsession Dragons and all the untold STORIES of Breeders that chose to not come Public

We have learned alot in the last year because we are sharing information we need to continue sharing information ...

IT IS THE LEAST WE CAN DO FOR THE BEARDED DRAGON COMMUNITY.

Wow. I think I should step away from the keyboard more often.

You guys are amazing. Thank you all for contributing, and putting aside any differences to see this through. These dragons that we all love so much deserve it.

GREAT

Great to hear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is exactly what I have wanted to see all along, the dragons deserve everything that we can give them.
None of us know everything, for sure. We can all learn from each other.
As I previously said in a thread, that I will not refer a new buyer to a breeder who does not test, or refuses to test simply because I don't think it's fair. However, it is fair if it is in full disclosure so the client knows what to expect, then, that is not a problem as adenovirus positive dragons deserve a wonderful home as well as non adenovirus positive dragons do.
As long as the breeder is completely honest with a prospective buyer, then, I will gladly refer a buyer their way.
It is frustrating since testing is expensive, I realize that, but right now, that is all we have to go by. It is simply better than doing nothing, so, it will help to set the standards higher. It just needs to be done. :)
This is really a great start people!

Okay, guys. This is what I am putting together. Take a look at it, and let me know what you think. I'd love to try to do this, and I need help from anyone who would like to be involved! Here is the link to my database page:

http://www.valleydragons.com/new_page_17.htm

Jamie :)

Jamie, you're the shiznit. And no, that's not an intentional misspelling of a curse word. Let me know what help you need, and I'm there.

Hello

Great Jamie,

I would be glad to help with anything you need if you need help with a person to collect data & oversee your test results, etc, let me know.
It is a start, super. The more data, the better off we will all be.

Tracie

Great! I'm glad to see that you are guys are into this! Basically, any and all information would be appreciated. Just tell your stories and experiences...try to add in as much detail as possible so that we have accurate records...like dates, time frames, test results, anything else you can think of. The more "fact based" information, the better. It will give us better insight into what is going on with all of these issues. I have to get a little work done away from the computer for a while, but I plan to work on the database later this evening. I'll keep everyone updated. Oh - and spread the word!

Jamie
