• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I purchased an Argentine boa from JROOTS right here on fauna. His ad claimed it was eating mice and rats. When I received the snake it was malnourished and could barely hold itself up. I meassaged Jamiean and said why is she in this condition. He said that she’s fine she eats a pinkie mouse every week. So an Argentine boa born 7/18 eats a pinkie a week. I asked him for half the money back because there is no way she would make another shipping. He said no. He asked me to feed her a few times and send her back I said if I have to nurse her she is not going back. Finally I sent him a message asking for a refund but I believe he blocked my number. I sent him a few messages on fauna and got no reply. Buyers beware of this clown. I have pics and videos I just can upload them. Oh the snake died less than 12 hr after I got her.

This past Tuesday 22 delivery on Wednesday 23. From Cincinnati To Battle Creek Michigan. Box temps were perfect. He asked for the box temps so I sent a pic

Probably a combination of a sick boa and low temps killed that boa.IMHO you should be refunded in full.not a good idea shipping anything live in the coldest month of the year, especially in the north. it's just too risky.

I just remembered that Metro Airport was shut down Tuesday evening, due to ice on the runways. I'm surprised that you got the package with no delays, and good temps.

Of course, that's irrelevant; the guy sent you a nearly-dead animal, which is inexcusable.

Wait until the BOI is gone .... this crap will happen even more. These type dealers will be running rampant.

Btw he claims to have a litter of Bolivians on the way and is thinking of selling a pair of carpets. So buyer beware.

One pinkie mice weekly @ 6 months old is not enough to sustained life. Snake room conditions and eating habits must be in sync! Hope the little guy makes it.

Good luck with the seller.

Naim, just curious if she had what appears to be some sort of lumps/bulges on her side. Sometimes it's hard to tell from a photo.

Where I'm headed with this, is possible symptoms of cryptosporidium, and contamination spreading to other animals in your collection, if any.
