In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Incubator DIES...UPDATE:ALL ARE OUT AND HEALTHY!!!

Krystal

I am slowly raising the temps manually, so not to have a drastic warm up. I am being precautious about the temp changes for them. Thanks though!

Yay! :) I hope they all hatch and thrive for you! The fact that they're still moving and seem okay even after all this gives me hope that they will all be just fine!

They will be fine snake eggs are more resilient than people think. Have you ever seen how they are handled and incubated in africa, you would think they would never hatch. But they still do.

I agree Gregg. The hard part is leaving them alone. gsrept hit the nail on the head. They are not that sensitive. Humidity seems to be more inportant than temps. And yes if eggs are healthy and developed you can cut at day 50.The faster they start breathing air the faster they metabolize yolk. If your not a cutter than wait, no big deal either way.

Congrats! Glad to hear it's working out. I wouldn't have cut though because I would have been unsure if that was the first time the incubator faulted and delayed the eggs. They look good though!

Glad to hear good news so far!! But y'all drop all this talk about cutting. My first clutch of 2012 is on day #53 today, and this is the first time that I've opted to NOT cut. I've produced dozenssssss of clutches, and I've cut every single one. I'm gonna pop a blood vessel trying to resist the urge!!!! :ack2: lol

Can't wait to see pics when they come out!! Congrats!!

Ok something new has come to my attention. Checked the eggs again today, all appear to be moving around and well, but the fluid inside the egg has turned cloudish yellow (visualize urine). and clumps of white are forming in the fluid. Should I be concerned?

Did a search for this and found someone else had the same thing happpen, and it was recommended to mist with warm water and remove the build up with a q-tip. Sound like the right thing to do?

None have popped their heads out, but the possible killer pied, looks it! saw its head and has a beautiful head blushing with a white neck!

thanks in advance!

Sounds like you're on the right track. Sometimes i get shy ones and inside the egg looks like nasty snot. Agreeed keep moist. Your almost there!

Just out of curiosity, what is the longest time anyone has let a cut clutch go before attempting to pull them out? Not saying I am doing this but I am curious just incase they decide to go another 5 or 10 days without even sticking their heads out. They are all still moving around so not worried about them, its more of being worried about the eggs decomposing since they were cut 8 days ago

I had this issue with a super clutch last season I finally went and pulled the ones that would not come out and the reason they did not was they were Kinked up. Not saying that's what is you situation but just a bit of info. Make bigger cuts in shell to see if all yolk is absorbed or twisted up in umbilical cord
