    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Has anyone made a large incubator by making an insulated box themselves? Trying to decide if i want to use a glass door cooler or make one myself. A homemade box I could put on wheels and would probably be lighter but I'm not sure how to make it. I'm working on tracking down a large soda cooler too but that's gonna be fun to get up and down all the stairs lol

Depends on your budget and how many eggs your going to have. If you have 4 or more clutches say from ball pythons or larger snakes i would go with making a glass door cooler due to space. if your incubating one or two clutches you could go comfortably with a styro cooler. I always recommend buying a outdoor cooler and making one yourself. I can fit usually 5 or 6 in my incubator due to buying one of the larger outdoors one, and it was probably around the same price as a store bought incubator except I know mine won't fail or short circuit.

I found a two door coke fridge for $100. That should make one big enough for a few years, the fun part is just getting it down the stairs lol I only have around 4 clutches a year but plan to have more when I'm finished with the new snake room. My old one only had room for two or three at a time since i use pretty big boxes.

Sounds like a steal congrats, remember if its still working with freon you should call someone to siphon it out. Doing it yourself can be illegal and can be dangerous. But good luck and if you have any more questions don't be afraid to ask.
