In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Incubator Vs Mini Fridge!!

At least LLL isn't overcharging quite as severely as the other guy who fancied it up and stuck a brand name on it, lol.
I've heard the incubator/fridge works pretty well.

havent seen the overpriced one lol...and LLL is sold out atm (black friday sale)...i been thinking bout that mini fridge tho...its like...the exact same thing...insane teehee...$99 aint bad

haven't bought one yet...thinking about it alot tho....if i do buy one im going to hook it to a t-stat and see how well it holds its temp inside...if it holds stable i may buy a few more asd well hehe

that's crazy i got one of the ones lll started selling but that looks like the exact same thing i have! just for $99 lol i prob be ordering one and compare the two.

so it looks like i will be getting one of these mini fridges for x-mas to test out as an incubator...i'll be letting everyone know how well it holds its temps and what not

Hey guys, found the 25 litter version

http://www.smarthome.com/91312/Deluxe-Digital-Mini-Fridge-Cooler-Warmer-MR-148/p.aspx

think geek is $25 shipping so totals $125 and its the 20 litter
this one is free shipping if u spend $200 so if u get 2 its cheape if not $7 more for 5 litters more.

Whats with the digital interface and the SVGA hookups? What else does this bad boy do? lol

Video Interface: VGA or DVI-I
# Connectors: Video output: VGA HDDE 15pin Female Connector Or DVI-I 24pin + 5pin Female Connector
# Host upstream link: USB Mini-B Type Female Connector

I'll be ordering one of the mini fridges from ThinkGeek this week...not worth it to order more than one from the other place for my crestie eggs, just to get the free shipping. I can make up some extra plexi-glass shelves for the one I get.

I not only have to worry about bitter cold winters, but also scorching summers with no AC, so this is the better deal for me than to get a regular incubator.

I lost about a third of my eggs last summer, and I can't afford to have that kind of loss this year with shops planning to carry my geckos and a website going up this fall.

Maybe you can link with NORAD???

I haven't ordered mine yet because i haven't finished my gecko room.

When I get it, you'll be the first to know.

Pretty much. On the really cold days my house gets a little chilly and I sometimes have to bump it up a degree. That's only pushing one button. For the price you can not beat it.

I got mine from ThinkGeek, it is the exact model that Reptipro, LLLReptile, BigAppleHerp, etc are all selling. For some reason the image on ThinkGeek is the old model they sold, I ordered mine a few months ago and received the newer model which looks like the ReptiPro, etc. It works great and I'd recommend it to anyone. It isn't super spacey or anything but it gets the job done.
