    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm looking to buy some custom made incubators for next season and my search has brought me here respectively, the best incubators for price, aesthetic appeal, that fit my purpose and price range, if I go this route I will purchase 3 of them.

I have thought about building my own but I want something that is "pro looking" and efficient without the actual labor lol

What do you guys look for in an incubator? Who would you recommend? Be direct and detail lol aid me in my decision folks =)

My first year in reptiles is this July =) Other than my pet turtle when I was like 8 lol don't even know what it was.

I found an old true display fridge and converted it. Took a couple weeks searching craigslist and my neighbor finally had one from his store. Cost me about $40 to get the freon sucked out and was easy to remove all the hardware from it and add some flexwatt and fan. Very easy to make and holds temps great.

I got a full size soda cooler like the one above for free and gutted it myself. added the 11" flex watt and t-stat. It already had a fan in it. I would think I could hold 30 clutches? It holds temps great. It's easy to do that would be my recommendation!
 
Awesome Joe, thanks for the input, seems legit lol im on craigslist currently searching lol, i would love to land one like that I wont have to worry bout an incubator for years lol
 
check ebay too if you can find one thats broke they usually go pretty cheap. Some people use regular refrigerators because you can get them cheap or free but it's nice to have the clear glass to see in.
 
We converted our snake room closet into a walk in incubator. Oil filled radiator, double ranco, and a fan :) Haven't had any clutches in it yet, but holds temp +/- 1 deg during test runs. A cheap option if you have the space.
 
Ya Bo sounds like an awesome idea best of luck on your custom incubator, i was thinking about that i have an dual door closet that already has insulation i would just have to clean it up such and it could work, its definitely and idea thank you
 
Bo I am tempted to do so with a dual door closet thing we have in our basement that is already pre insulated but I think I'd prefer something portable in case i need to move etc. But best of luck on that man for real hope it works out keep me posted on it
 
Portable is always nice. If we didn't have a small walk in closet in our snake room, I would probably be hunting for a beverage display cooler like the ones pictured earlier.
 
Yes sir, I agree lol, I am on that hunt, but I honestly believe the natures spirit incubators maybe the one for me =), either that or the beverage coolers before mention before. I just want to make sure I have the most legit system I can find and ensure a level of comfort and success next breeding season, this season I am using my friends hovabators and so far all is good but I don't think I want to branch out on my own with those
