I'm selling my blue tongued skink. I am almost sure it's female but I could be wrong. I've been calling it a her though. The body is fat and always stays fat no matter what, lol. The skink is beautifully colored with reddish brown and dark brown stripes, orange colored eyes, and has a shell pink belly when it's skin is new. It sheds about once every 2 months.
This skink is very tame and doesn't mind being petted, picked up gently, etc. It's also good around kids, but I don't reccomend leaving your child alone with it, or letting them hold her, simply because she's afraid of heights and must be held like a baby. It likes to be able to come out of it's terrarium and crawl around, and loves to play hide and seek (like most of them do) and I take "her" outside when the temperature is above 80 degrees.
"she" likes to eat cooked chicken, boiled or scrambled eggs (no butter), berries, super worms, and pedegree moist dog food I mix with her calcium supplement. She hates the taste of the vitams though, so it must be mixed in well with any food you give her. She drinks water daily usually around 7:00 AM.
I'm asking $50 for the skink. That includes the enclosure, heat lamp, tunnel log, heating pad, and water dish. The tank has a new metal screen lid. I bunjee cord the cage so that the lid cannot be pushed up or taken off by children.
I'm only selling to a local buyer. I live in Orlando, Florida, and I'd like to have the lizard picked up from my place, that way I can show you just how wonderful she is.
