Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Info needed on Bibron's boa

I was told actually that it was a Bibron's python, though I think that's incorrect. In any case, I posted in a couple of other places on Fauna - the SPCA in my county rescued a lot of animals on reports of neglect from a local pet store, and a "bibron's python" - or boa ;) was one of those seized.

What are the care requirements for the snake? I have not seen this snake yet, was just asked for information on it. Is it a Fiji boa?

Any help given this limited info would be appreciated.
 
you're probably looking for Candoia bibroni - common names Solomon Island Tree Boa (shared with C. carinata paulsoni), Fiji Boa and Bibroni's Boa.

Give moderate to high humidity, climbing structure, hide box, and good size water dish so it can soak.
 
Thanks, I found a caresheet on KS. Tough to find a caresheet for an animal I've never seen! I didn't even have a description to go on, but sounds like it is Candoia bibroni. Thanks for the help.
