But instead, the thread got turned into a "let's bring BP.net drama into the BOI and continue to attack Deb over here because it's even more fun on the BOI than it is at BP.net!" There was no reason whatsoever to bring any of the BP.net links or posts into it. There was no reason to question Deb's motives for making the inquiry either......it should have been allowed to run its course and anyone knowing Adam should have been given the chance to say so without having to wade through all this drama that had nothing to do with him.

Thank you, Judy. I started a similar post twice this morning, and got interrupted before I completed the one that would have been okay to post (the first one was a bit more stream of consciousness, and I wasn't too concerned with complete thoughts, language, etc).
I haven't been around as much as usual over the past 2 days, but the Deborah & Joe Show has run its course...it needs to stop here. This inquiry sat here, without response for two days. Only when Kelly posted a positive comment did Joe decide we needed to know why Deborah was asking. As it happened, about an hour and a half later, the other thread was locked, and the crap flowed over here.
I have disliked this thread since that started, and for a variety of reasons. First, and foremost, a whole bunch of stuff was posted about this transaction - but not a single word from the buyer or seller...you guys remember them, right? The two people actually involved in the transaction. Further, the OP of the thread on BP.net is, to everybody except Deborah, an anonymous party. The vast majority of this thread is a bunch of people talking about an anonymous post on a different forum (does anybody else see an issue with that?)...and relatively little of it has to do with the transaction between what'shisname and Adam Kuhn.
Believe it or not, Adam Kuhn is the subject of this inquiry - NOT Deborah.
If anybody wants to gripe about Deborah's opinion, or the way she handled this situation...or Joe H's involvement, for that matter - take it to Hell. (If a BOI thread pops up because of this, there had better be a legitimate transaction to point to).

I suppose I should thank you guys for bringing back the crankiness, I was starting to think I was losing my edge

I am not familiar with Adam, but I just checked the weather for the Havre De Grace area, and it looks like the day time HIGHS will be in the mid 30's max for the next 10 days.
I would not ship either.

I wouldn't have an issue with pointing out how Deb could have handled things differently. But you guys go so far beyond that it's unreal. You're constantly and repeatedly making assumptions about her motives and intentions and stating them as facts. You take what few actual facts there are in this matter and completely misstate them...over and over again, as if repitition will somehow make them true.

Judy, I agree completely. In fact, I initially had no intentions of getting involved in the thread. After reading the initial thread in bp.net I decided to throw in my opinion on the matter. I attempted to give my opinion as calmly and rationally as possible; however, calmly and rationally lost it's footing once Deb began her own unreasonable diatribe against me.

Yes, this thread is no longer about Adam or the buyer, and for that reason will be left alone.

sounds like Spring, to me. It was -16 when I got home this morning, with a forecast high of +8...supposed to make it up to 12 tomorrow. The only thing I want to ship is myself, to someplace warm enough to let my face thaw.

Please accept my apology for not wording it better. I didn't mean to sweep everyone into the same pile. Certainly there are plenty of legitimate questions to ask, as none of this makes much sense to begin with. It's just those involved in trying to assassinate her character that I'm having a hard time with.

Probably not...but having someone come on here and make false accustions isn't going to have me being very polite. I already have my name being used in a nasty way from associating with this site. I wasn't about to tolerate anymore. After my ads run out, it's doubtful that I will ever be back..so don't worry over much on my behavior.

Just because this is fauna does NOT mean that I must agree with how everyone else does business...no one agreed with how I "force fed" a hatchling..but I don't see anyone accusing you of "ruining" my name or any such thing. You disagreed and I respected that disagreement and tried to explain.

I still think the seller could have met the child waaaay before 6 weeks was past if he honestly thought that the child was at fault. But I have explained my reasoning and I stand behind it.

I don't think that disagreeing with how someone does something means allllll the things that were said.

Deb all i will add to this thread is a couple lessons EVERYONE should learn from this thread.1 DO NOT deal with a child who kills snakes then lies to others in order to get a new snake.2 DO NOT slam a vendor/breeder about a deal if you do not have ALL the facts.3 Keep your nose out of someone else's deal UNTIL you have ALL the facts from both sides.4 Have self respect enough to admit you were wrong for getting involved in someone else's dealings.Now the real losers in this whole deal are the poor snake you gave to that kid and the one he gets from Adam.

I must say I found Adam online selling corn snakes and went to pick them up today. He invited me and my family into his place with no hesitation at all, was willing to stand and shoot the breeze with us and answer any question asked. He is a great person and his operation is top notch. I could not be more pleased!!!!
