I just noticed this ad on Kingsnake: http://market.kingsnake.com/detail.php?cat=33&de=249944
Last month I had a baby sorong on Reptibid. I then had to take it down because the baby fell off his perch and got a kink in his tail. I didn't feel it was right to sell a snake with a defect. Anyway, I decided to sell it with a much lower price than before. Ofcourse, I put in the auction that it had a kink in it's tail. Noone bidded on my snake. I then get an email from Ryan wanting to buy the snake for $180 with a kinked tail. I sold it to him without any mention of pics of the parents and when it was hatched.
Anyway, if you look at the link above, that is the same snake that I sold to him. I have proof because I still have my old pics of the sorong, and it matches the one above perfectly. It's being sold as a "Gorgeous & perfect Sorong type neonate." Hmmm...I don't think so. It has a kinked tail. I also noticed that one of the condition is that "Not responsible for carrier mishandling." Hmmm...I guess if the buyer receives the sorong and notices a kinked tail, I suppose it's the carriers fault for mishandling. Too bad then for the buyer. Also, as far as the hatch date of 5/6/04, I sure as hell didn't know it was hatched then. Another thing is that " Pictures of the parents are also available to any serious buyer. " I never had pictures of the parents, and didn't know exactly who the breeder was. I was told it was CB, but since the seller couldn't give me a breeder, I'm assuming is was farmed.
Well, I just wanted to give a heads up because I know that snake in the kingsnake ad was my sorong.
