    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Information on Anole Morphs or Prices

Information on Anole Morphs or Prices.

Depends on exactly what you are looking for ladylayna, information on anolis morphs is scetchy at best, and morphs are few and far between.

To the best of my understanding Bob C. is working with a yellow A.c. and plans to or may have allready breed it to a normal. The results are unknown to me but I suspect the morph is simple recessive so at least one more generation will be needed to weed out that morph.

I've been on the Blue Diamond list for a blue A.c. for many years now, nothing has cropped up that I know of from them. Which is sad because I can breed A.c. very well, and the anolis morphs need to get into the trade.

A.c. morphs include blue and yellow, and at this point may be valued in the $100ish range give or take a little or a lot depending on quality, age, and CBB over WC. Truth be told I might go $200 on a CBB morph A.c. thats well started (2-3 months).

Best of luck on whatever it is you are looking for.

There really are not morphs of Anolis. Many species available though, but no "morphs". Occasionally you can find Anolis carolinensis that has more yellow or more blue pigment instread of just green, or even males that are "granite" patterned, but this is a common attribute to hormonal changes in the animal and not a geneticly programmed pigment.

All that being said though, there are probably 30 different Anole species on the market, so you could look into one of those.

There are two genetic morphs of the common green anole Anolis carolinensis, blue and yellow.

When particular chromatosphores do not operate or are nonexistant you have the above morphs.

Both the yellows and blues can still alter their color somewhat, but the range is limited because they lack the full complement of chromatosphores.

This is quite different than a simple pattern alteration from the norm that is not genetic. It also is quite different than line breeding for more white/cream coloration, which was a pet project of mine for many years.

Do you have any photos or thesis papers that back this up? I do not find any published literature about it, and I do a fair amount of research through the university system.
