Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

As of 2/25, your phone number (or the one you gave in the email) was still listed as the number to contact when you wanted to make a visit to Chris's "facility", it disappeared from the site. along with a lot of other neat info, as soon as this thread started getting heated.

If you were no longer affiliated with him, why is that?

This was probably more than enough information for me.

People have said on this site that e-mails are not private once they leave your computer. They may very well be legally right. But when the person specifically asks you not to disclose certain information It's important do your best to honor their request.

Well, some will say "yes, but then you are accomplice to something that you didn't disclose and you had the opportunity to do". Maybe so, and that probably has to be evaluated on a case by case basis and how much the information ads to the case at hand.

Here's the problem I see when posting an e-mail that someone specifically asked you not to do. In the future people that have important information about a certain company/individual will choose not to share it to avoid retaliation but said company/individual.

Gave us an idea that we were on the right track without betraying the trust Andrew placed on you. Will Andrew share information in the future with you? I highly doubt it? Who will that benefit in the end? The person that's been questioned. Again, please don't take this as a personal attack on you sharing those e-mails. My thoughts are most people want to remain anonymous when sharing critical information. By respecting that we will in turn obtain more information that will aid us in solving cases for which we may have reasonable doubts. In the end it is not about not disclosing critical information and becoming and accomplice with your silence, it's about obtaining more information that otherwise will never be shared. Going to an extreme, that's the reason behind the "witness protection program" isn't it?

The Boidsmith hit the nail right on the head witht that comment. Id like to answer some questions you people have because ive been there. I just dont want to be exploited because i did nothing. I have no website knowledge Chris handled the entire website so i do not know why my number remained on the site
 
Chris, in light of all of this, is it 93 pages of BS, is it 93 pages with info that is partially true, completely true and accurate...If you bought 200 WC females and do not know how to care for them, and were planning on doing things the right way, albeit a shortcut, that is one thing...but, if you were planning on using other people's photos to sell your animals, not good. And, I am sure you can see how buying a few hets to get paperwork for Hets, and then having the possibility of using that paperwork to sell normals as hets, is crossing people's minds.

There are most certainly circumstances when a request to not share info publicly needs to be honored. This aint one of them.

We have no idea if this is really Andrew or Chris or how in league they really are with one another. It was the fact that the phone number Andrew gave was the one and the same being used on the website that convinced me that the emails could be posted publicly.

If you want to question my integrity over posting those emails publicly, let me state right now that you can go piss up a rope.
 
Its not to be questioned. He didnt honor my email so guess what, i dont even care thats all the info people should need then. I am Andrew and that is my number. Agian i dont know why it wasnt taken off the site earlier but agian i have nothing to do with it

Incredibly uncalled for, and I honestly expected something different from you. What happened to the days when someone could post an opinion without being insulted.

Please read my post again, in no way I'm addresing your action. In there I stated that when an e-mail ads critical information so be it, and it has to be judged an a case by case basis. You were not the one who were asked not to disclose the information, period.

Maybe ill approach it this way. IM a young cat, i just turned 22 years old. I have and been keeping ball pythons since i was 10.....12 years expierience , not bad. Im not saying i know everything but a great deal i suppose. Again get your questions in because im going fishing soon and i may not be around untill late tonite

What was the intention behind buying a bunch of WC Gravid normal females?

Who advised Chris to buy the WCs?

Who advised the set up and care of the WCs?

Did you leave the "partnership" because you did not want to engage in Chris' deceptions and questionable business practices?

The intention behind the WC was Chris' beast. He brought up the idea to me and had asked if i could build enough racks for them and care for them and i said yes.(as that was my end of the bargain, caring, building proper enclosure, racks, etc.)
Im not sure who advised him to buy them
Chris actually disolved the partnership himself because one person is the majority in a partnership and thatsall it takes to dissolve it. The reason behind it i dont need to discuss but basically it was called rare pythons under our partnership and that is why it has changed to rare pythons inc. i beilive?? But i never handled any website info i just loved the snakes i had at the time and all i cared about was them and making sure everthing was right on point in thier enclosures. I payed no attention to the site or any contact info

I was not insulting you for your opinion. I even agreed with it. I was just stating that IF (if being the key word in that sentence) you were going to question my integrity for posting those emails that you could... well it was stated once, so no need to state it again.

But yes, it was a tad premature on part. Maybe even uncalled for. I was just letting you know where I stood if (there is that if word again) you were going to question my integrity over the emails.

I don’t post here often and I haven’t read this thread in its entirety (I tried several times but stopped close to page 70). I have received some emails to notify me about this thread and was contacted about ads on KS. While I did not get to see the ads before they were pulled, I did get to see his site and I have some firsthand knowledge of Chris so I figured I could throw in my two cents for what it is worth.

History:
He contacted me before the last White Plains reptile show (in January) to purchase some snakes. We exchanged some emails and phone calls and he drove down to White Plains to pick up his snakes.
He purchased an albino male, a het piebald female, and four het albino females. All were small snakes…all less than 500 grams if I am not mistaken.
In a previous email he proposed reselling some of my offspring through his site. At the show we spoke about it and I told him I really wasn’t interested.

Use of my pictures on his site:
I was contacted by KS and contributors to this thread in regards to his use of my pictures on his site. I did not give him permission to use my pictures or text from my site. I called him to notify him of this and Chris apologized and began removing pictures and text promptly. I also noticed pictures and text from several other breeders and he mentioned that he would just go ahead and pull down the entire site. Chris said he Googled for content for his site and didn’t think it would be such a big deal to use this content. Again, he apologized and began to correct the issue immediately.

For what it is worth:
I recognize him from the pictures he is posting of himself. In other words…..he is the guy posted in the pictures.

At the show, he asked if I knew anyone that had additional het albino females. I directed him to one breeder that I trust but he did not purchase from him. However, he made a bunch of other purchases from other vendors at the show including some imported gravid females. I know this because he put them all in the same box that I gave to him for the snakes he purchased from me. It struck me as odd that a guy would spend a chunk of change on legitimate captive bred ball pythons (legitimate hets and an albino) but also be purchase imported females at the same time. I chalked it up to newbie inexperience.

I did not sell him the albino female that he posted a picture of earlier so I assume that he has a pair and will be producing albinos in the not too distant future.

Will I vouch for him being a reputable breeder? Nope. To the best of my knowledge he has not bred a single ball python and to boot I only met him once. However, I will vouch for him as a customer. He paid for what he ordered and did so promptly. Regardless of his past, I will offer him the same service that I offer any other customer that has paperwork from me. The hets that he purchased from me are hets….and they will prove out. If he decides to part with the hets he purchased from me, I will vouch for the hets provided they can be identified in a copy of the paperwork that I have here.

During our conversation in regards to using my pictures he mentioned that he has het pieds from ACE Reptiles. I told him about the ACE Reptiles thread here and he mentioned that he would then just have to hold onto all hets.
