In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I really hope she's just getting fat, but well some things ya just can't hope away lol. From straight on, looks like a her, from a side view, well looks like i gotta kick ass orange leatherback male breeder... what do ya'll think. do i need to change her name from sally to steve?

yep that's what i figured too. well looks like i'm in the market for a female saturated orange hypo to pair with ol' stevo here.

theory?

In pic 1: I drew a line around where the females "single buldge would be. Which this dragon has. I know some of you see the bulges on the very outside of the tail BUT i think that may be the side bones in the tail.
Pic 2: I drew in lines but you can see in the original picture that there no hemipenes right there.
Pic 3: Where the drawn in pictures is where you normaly see hemipenes

Pic 4: These are where the femoral pores of a dragon are. Male dragons have larger femoral pores than females. and in this picture you can barely see them. so either this is a 6-7-8 inch dragon or there not developed if it is a male.

Again i just wanted to state why i though this may be a female since i am like on a 1 to 5 side on a disagreement. So i still might look like a :bleep: when done and said (wouldnt be the first time) But i figured since i was in the forum section to add my 2 cents!

Well unless those are some wide spread hemipenes i think its a "Sally"
thats why i'm confused. i have a for sure male the same size, and he has a textbook under tail. sally...or steve... on the other hand, was sold to me as female, and looked totally female with the single bulge for the last month. then like 5 days ago, i noticed when i kinda turned him a little, she seems to be sportin some hemipenes. so the million dollar question...that thing gotta hemi??:scatter:

I had a dragon do the same thing that was bought as a female. Her name was Nebula and she did such a wonderful job with Daphney that I kept them in the same enclosure. Needless to say Nebula became a Bane and is the father of my M. Lucys. Like I said, it was a really big surprise clutch on Christmas day. lol Bane showed female for 8 or 9 months, so thats why I say male.

It is tricky...and I don't see as well as I used to but I also think it's a girl...the angles and brightness might be throwing me off,but it does look like a female.

well to be safe i think i'll at least house her/him with one of my non leatherback females. last thing i want to do is learn how to care for silkbacks lol...

I am going to say female. It looks to me that you are more likely at tail muscle from that angle. With bulges THAT far out to the side, everything looks outside the area of the sex organs to me.

I have an adult female with similar traits and I have checked "her" as recently as a couple of weeks ago. I saw her finally mated last week, so mystery solved.

Jeff

Well I hate to say this, but Jeff has been right on both of the babies I got from him and he was the one I contacted to help me sex my babies I hatched out. This is going to be interesting either way. Gorgeous baby whatever the sex maybe.

here are some more pics, i tried to get a shot of her pores, and i got em with no flash
