If you have issues with the way someone does something, explain them and attack those, don't attack someone for what he cannot help.

I know that you're angry at Dale, and I'm glad that you see though his facade, but I have to say this and I hope you don't take it too negatively.

I feel that your mocking of Dale's disease is extremely out of hand and I really don't want to be associated with it. On multiple occassions I discussed that I'm currently doing research that deals with this disease with Dale, and offered to pray for him. I don't think that his condition has in anyway affected his ability to judge and admin his forum.

I also feel that his forum is a place where people can come to state facts and share information about their dealings with others in the herp industry, both good and bad. It is not a place to name-call, badger, or "troll" against/about/for other people.

My brother and I have done nothing more (i hope) than come here and state facts about our dealings with Dale and some of the issues we had with him for others to be aware of. We have stated nothing but the absolute truth in that regard, and we hope that this will warn/help others with regards to Dale Ward. We were cheated on contests on this forum earlier this year. End of story. Beyond that I want it to be known by Dale and everybody else that we hold no grudge against Dale now (we did at the time it happened), we have gotten over it, and moved on with our lives. This thread appeared, we discussed it, and we decided that we should address these issues now for others to see and make a judgement.

I hope that our posts have helped others see Dale for who he is, and if you do decide to do business with him we (Chase and I) both wish you the best of luck.

Well it has been sometime since I have been this angry...reason being...my father suffered the last twenty years of his life from parkinsons disease before it robbed him of life at 72 years young. Your dig just proves what kind of scum you are...and another thing parks meds do rob the person of something....and like Ken said there isn't a goddamn thing funny here with this disease. Okay I'm back from work

Now let me first apologise to everyone specially to Dale and his family. while I was at work at sat and thought how the hell could I get that low. well all I can say is anger. I know we all have it in us. just look at the one that wants to meet me face to face. i understand my comments were out of line but personal threats , whatever I know your pissed at me so I have never been one to run if you ever meet me and want to take a poke I understand. honestly I could not even get mad at ya for it, but I can also say I dont turn the other cheek.

this is no attempt to stop people from responding or even disliking me because it is what it is and we cant all get along all the time.

after reading about the guy who lost his father ,it reminded me of a friend of mine that died from Cerebral pulzi (sp) and the yr before that his dad died from parkisons. so I should have known better.One other thing that went through my mind is as a father myself I have always taught my children tollerence of others no matter what so who am I to go against what I have been teaching them because I know it would tear them apart if anything happened to me or my wife..

Did you indeed run contests with prizes offered and then renege on your part of the deal or perhaps cancel the contests when they were not going the way you wanted them to go?

I had to restart two contests because of cheating.....people registering under proxy ips to vote, or bullying new members into voting for their brothers picture (Chase)

You seemed to avoid the DVDs. Now I could care less about these DVDs but the actual transaction of a product is my problem. As a customer who never received the product, it is very unprofessional to break off all communication when the transaction isn't complete, no matter the relationship with the customer. Now if you have viable evidence that I cheated in the contest then it would seem reasonable to withhold the prizes but even then breaking off communication is not ethical.

So unless you have any proof of me cheating in that contest, it would seem that you failed in providing your customer with what he was promised.

I was a member of freedom through three forum moves, I won a reptiles magazine subscription and received it with no problem. I also won a milk snake from Dale, he shipped it quickly and communications was good.

Now is where it gets bad, the snakes is sick, he doesn't eat often and when he does, he regurges and is losing weight. I had talked to Dale about him (the snake) not wanting to eat but we both figured it was relocation stress. After he started to regurge I was going to contact Dale but once again the forum had moved and I didn't know how to contact him.

I just discovered today that freedom is back at its old address and signed up again. I don't know why as I'll not be going back.

I had wondered about the spider ball python contest, kinda crappy to cancel it just as it was ending after people waiting months for a winner. If some one had cheated, why not just rerun the voting without that picture included? I seriously doubt Pruddock cheated, I know him from other forums and he is a alright guy.

As far as the drama is concerned. Get rid of all the "off topic" forums and you won't have a place for all the arguing. Screen potential members and you won't have multiple BS accounts being made.

Dale, you've always been nice to me but I'm very disappointed in getting a sick snake, even if it was free. I'm also disappointed freedom isn't stable enough to make it worth while to continue being a member.

I'm sorry to hear about the hondo....this is the first time I've heard of a regurge. I had that hondo for almost 4 months before I shipped him to you and never had an issue with him. Having said that, since you have signed up again on Freedom, feel free to contact me there we will work out something on the hondo....and if you're not satisfied, you can re-post in this thread

I have spoken with Rob via pm and have explained in detail the reason for what happened.

Rob, nor the Society had anything to with the raffle being pulled. As Rob stated, I refunded everyones money as soon as I pulled the raffle.

I will continue to work this out with Rob in private, and if he's not satisfied with the results, he can obviously come back here and post.

I should have handled this situation differently, and I take full responsibility for the ensuing mess.

To be honest, dude, it sounds like you and your brother need to grow up a bit. As I understand it the BOI is about warning people off doing business with bad people. This sounds more about a forum falling out and, with respect, it has no place on the BOI. How someone runs their forum and how they run their business have, in my experience, little to do with one another.

This whole things sounds to me like your little tantrum wasn't entertained on his forum so you thought you would bring it here and discredit him as some kind of messed up revenge. You never got your DVD's and with good reason from what Dale posted.

As for outsdr2, not sure what your deal is man, but that contest was back in April was it not? If you're snake is rugurging now, maybe your error? You say you were not able to contact Dale because is forum was down but when you ship an animal the shipper and recipient's phone number goes on the package, does it not? If I'm wrong, you still should have gotten his contact regardless, now you say you signed back up but don't know why? So let me get this straight, you sign back up on his forum yesterday, don't bother to try and resolve it like a man?
