Also Alvaro touched on this, and I meant to say this, so I will explain what he meant.
Do not exeed 2% of the animals body weight when you "re hydrate" it. The reasoning for this is, quite often people assume if they shove a bunch of water down a herps throat it will "re hydrate" them. In reality you are more likely to drown the animal then re hydrate it. Often if you shove too much liquid in them at once they will only puke it back up, and that is very counterproductive.
As noted before, the hydration is only a small part of the problem. You need to get that animal eaing, as I assume it is not. You may want to ask your vet about tube feeding the animal, allthough I wouldnt suggest you attempt this, and only do this as a last resort.
