    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Folks...I know Dave personally! I realize that he's had some problems in the past, but, haven't we ALL??? I can seriously say, that Dave is TRULY trying to turn his "professional herp life" around....I really don't think you'll have a problem dealing with him...if you do?? I'll shoot him for you!! ....Neil

I  just got 4 ball pythons from him and they are everything he said they would be, I would hesitate to buy from him again.

I usually only have good things to say about people unless they do me wrong. A week ago I was supposed to have won an adult Peruvian Boa from Dave Lawson and low and behold after being told by Herpauction that I was the highest and winning bidder I received notification from Dave that he had sold the snake one half hour before the auction actually ended. The e-mail he sent me was 10 minutes after the auction officially closed to tell me that the snake was sold. He offered to sell me an adult anery for the same price as the Peruvian and after all they're the same thing right? Now I don't know about Dave Lawson but I was raised to believe that when you enter into an agreement such as putting an animal up for auction you actually follow through with your intention, not sell it beforehand. But I forgot I'm an honest man.

I have several dealings with Dave and he always had excellent aniamls for sale and good prices and services. I wouldn't worry about it. good with the deal

Thanx

I don't really think the Herpauction incident is a negative.  It's always been common practice for sellers to make deals with bidders or others as an auction progresses. If that's a problem it needs to be addressed at herpauction.  Besides, Dave offered to sell another snake in place of the one on the auction.  Sounds like a reasonable guy to me.

I have had a great phone conversation with Dave.  I was interested in a peruvian and anery. from him.  He was very friendly and upfront.  He informed me that the peruvian was a picky eater and had some trouble shedding in the past.  He was also very honest about his anery.  In, fact i was planning on taking a look at the snake during the Jax show but just didn't make it up there.  I will do business with Dave in the future.  He was very professional.
