In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry: GoLizards.com

"1. Not that it's going to prove one side over the other, but there is
no way on this planet or your's that the smoke smell that came from that
glider was from one ciggarette. That is a mute subject at this point."

You are a mute subject at this point and it's Venus.

"2. You are so behind on information regarding the "real" KC show you can't even talk praise about it correctly. David Nieves hasn't ran that show or even had anything to do with it for over 2 years now. It's put
on by a conglomerant of members of the herp society. They do donate the proceeds to animal resuce and preservation, that's why it's a HERP SOCIETY SHOW! Jason and Kellie never said their show was a not for profit
convention. When you do a show for profit, you take the proceeds, that's what they call a business."

Okay, so replace the words David and Nieves with the words conglomerate (that's how the word's spelled on Venus) of members of the herp society.

"3. For being a professional breeder of exotic mammals you sure don't know your laws very well. They aren't breaking any laws there slick, they have two pairs of Gliders. You are not required by USDA to have a permit until you have five pairs of a species. As far as getting a "clean
bill of health" from the USDA inspections goes, it's easy to do when you know they are coming. Febreeze covers tobacco smoke pretty well."

Actually it's 3 pairs, Mr. DA and they claimed to have already owned two when I traded them another pair. That makes 3.
Let me lace your brains up for you on some more animal law. Venomous is illegal in Kansas City. So,... how are you doing with that rattler? Don't go gettin' yourself bit.
As far as the Febreze (another Venus spelling) thing goes, I wouldn't know.
Covering unpleasant smells in my home or facility isn't a measure that I have to take, but thanks for your tip.

"4. You mentioned that I must be a friend or a "so called" business
partner. Well that's partially right, they are good friends and I do help
promote their shows, this is why your attacks on their kids come so hard
to me. You are outside of your head if you think that they neglect
their children. Jason and Kellie are probably to most aware and concerned
parents I know. If anyone has children, you know that there is no
controlling a childs; especially a baby's need to fill their diaper, thus
comes a smell. If this was a controllable thing trust me more parents
would do it. That was a pretty childish and low route to take. I guess when
you run out of excuses that's the only way to go with your kind of
mentality. Before you start on your, "Why are you getting invovled in this,
it's none of your business rant", I'll go ahead with, it became my
business when you started attacking my friends on a public forum."

Well, like I said....they brought stink to the table, I didn't.
Furthermore, I have a girl and when she was young and in diapers I didn't drive around with her in a dirty diaper for so long that my truck smelt like crap. As soon as her diaper started to, I stopped and I changed the diaper. To tell the truth, it was easy to deal with.
As far as your Godfather, Sopranos, mess with my friends, mess with me ditty goes,...can you see my middle finger?

"If your aim is to get Jason so pissed that he knocks the crap out of
you, then your going to be really unhappy with the results. He's not that
kind of person, fortunatly he's more of the turn the other cheek kind
of guy, unless you keep on his family and then you might get your wish.
You come across as a kind of person that reminds me of a mosquito, you
keep buzzing around until you get smacked, but then instead of smacking
back, you run and get your attorney. Is that what you really want? You
want Jason to crack your skull so that you can run and scream, HELP,
HELP, the BIG BLACK MAN is ATTACKING ME! That's all you've said about
him, how threating he was, and how big he was. Anyone that knows him,
knows that Jason is the biggest pasivist when it comes to confrontation,
he'll tell you that comes from maturity, I tell you that comes from
wisdom. Thurber I'm glad you've presented yourself like the real man you
are. That's the way a real man should act in public, like a spineless
piece of crap that stands around and pushes others buttons until they
crack."

It's good for him that he's not that kind o' person. It would probably get him hurt if he wasn't. Not by me though (unless of course he tried to "crack my skull").
I've got 6 years in Ving Tsun and pay over $200 a month to fight full contact 2 days out of 7. In other words, you are barkin' at a biter, my friend. Calling the police? Please. And what's color have to do with it? You think I would fear a man because he is black. Sorry, but I haven't fallen to pop-culture.
You can now add racism to your (probably already long) list of idiocies.

"Maybe you didn't have a beef with me before, but brother you do now."

I don't have a beef with you, but if you have one with me, you are more than welcome to 'try' and work it out, so long as it's noted that it's consensual and in a controlled environment. I don't want to be the violent criminal that Jason and Kelli would like everyone to think I am.
If this is the case, contact me privately and we'll make arrangements.
I am done with this thread.

Yea your done...

I'll beleive it when I see it. Once again your replies are nothing more than the mosquito in you flying around asking to get smacked. Do your self a favor and stay on your side of the state line. You fit in better at the "real show" any way. I don't care what kind of training you have. Don't go throwing the racism card in my face, after hearing about some of the underlying comments you through at them in some of your emails I think you brought it a long time ago. By the way I don't care what training you have or what kind of "Fight Club" hobbies you have if you think that these scare me your wrong. Once again a good way to show your spine there cheif.

This thread is turning into more of a pissing match now, I have a business to run.

A final thought.....

I swore I would not be on this post again, but I needed to state a few facts first.
The funny thing is- you have never ever seen my kids nor gotten close to my vehicle- this is of course why you have no idea what my kids smelled like. I can assure you that my kids don't sit in a dirty diaper - EVER! No need to prove that to a filth like you. That is why I had a diaper bag full of diapers and wipes (not a bag full of dope and smokes). My kids are the cleanest around. -PERIOD. Which you would know nothing about. You looked like you crawled out of a tissue box from under the interstate to meet us. You looked like you hadn't showered in days or had a hair cut in years. Maybe you should be spending your money on personal hygiene instead of your fighting skills. I guess as much crap as you start and talk you are bound to need your fighting more than your cleanliness.
Also what about your daughter..... where is she??? Not in your custody- huh? She can't be living with you and your 16 yr old girlfriend. You don't need to say another word to me. You are filth and that is it. I have said all that I need to say.
I'm out............

The smell emitting from your lines of b.s. is taking my breathe away. After years of searching by 100's of glider owners, I have found something that will cover up their scent and it is a Marlboro light?
Okie-dokie. I'll have to forward this to some of the glider breeders. 'They' will find it amusing. Third lie

HAHAHAHAH I have to agree with jason on this one guys Covering up their scent with a Marlboro light um no? If you are in the right mind you WILL not smoke near your animals..... JUST my thought and yes either the breeders will laugh because the statement or get aggerssive about it! lol

Jason Thurber said:
Gee, you wouldn't happen to be friends and even what some people would call business partners with Jason and Kelli would you?

Just so the people that are inexperienced with gliders know......
they have scent glands and those scent glands work very well. Cigarette smoke, especially the smoke from ONE cigarette that was smoked in a vehicle with the windows rolled down, cannot be detected on a glider.
Their scent isn't as heavy as that of a ferret, but you'd have just as much luck smelling cigarette smoke on a ferret as you would a glider.
Like I said, I smoked one cigarette on my way to meet this not-so dynamic duo and I don't smoke in the facility. I am very adamant about that.
This is just another tactic being used and another example of their ignorance in regards to the animals that they're working with (illegally).

Yeah there is no way you could smell alot of things on a glider when driving on the way to get to a place with a window down let alone a cig because the smoke would go out the window the only way possible is for you to blow the smoke in the gliders pouch really espically in a car what the heck lol???

I'm confused......

I'm a little confused as to which side of the fence you are on? There are three Jasons that have posted on this thread. Which are you stating is correct here?

You are wrong here dude. Ppl who smoke always think the stench goes out the window. It doesn't. It sticks to every surface in the car and especially to material, cloth, a glider pouch. A nonsmoker will be able to smell the smoke, especially on the gliders pouch.

Kristopher is referring to Thrubers history with a known scammer in the glider world that has recently tried scamming in the reptile world. Credibility isn't his strong suit.

Jason at GoLizards is a good guy! I have bought many snakes from him in the pastand I have never had a problem nore been disopointed with the quality of his snakes.

Sincerly,

Scott

I do Jason and Kelli's show in Broken Arrow all the time.. I consider them very good friends of mine.. You could not find finer parents then Kelli and Jason...Their children are very well taken care of and are a joy to be around. As far as their animals... They stand behind them...

Ok maybe I am out of line but this isn't a parenting forum and could care less whose kids are doing what or how they are being treated. The only thing this thread should be addressing is the care and quality of the animals being sold. For those who want to play "he said/she said" about parenting skills I'm sure there is a yahoo forum out there for you.

Normally I would agree with you but..........

In this case that doesn't really apply since part of his whole attack on Jason and Kelli was about the way they maintain their animals, and then he through in the kids. Once that occurred he opened a door that should have never been opened, especially since he never even came into contact with the kids. That was just his way to try to come back with an attack since he had no other leg to stand on.

I'll throw my 2 cents in here. I don't care what kind of parents Jason and Kelly are, that's not the issue. I bought a veiled chameleon from them about a year ago at a show. Kelly talked to me for quite a long time about what great pets chameleons are and how much they love to be held. She told me they were great pets for children and how her kids carry them around all the time. I should've done a little research and waited but I bought it based on what she told me. That was my bad. I then went to the pet store and bought the needed supplies, including a book about chameleons. I soon found out that chams don't care for human interaction and prefer to be left alone. I also found out about a week later that the cham had MBD. He had broken bones on each of his legs on the right side. I emailed Kelly and she told me that in the week that I had him it must've developed because they take excellent care of their reptiles. We went back and forth a couple of times and she would never own up to it. I didn't pursue it any further because I wanted to be done with her. The cham has a good home now and is being properly cared for. I never handle him unless I have to and he likes being a look-at-only pet. His MBD has not progressed any further because he is now getting the lighting and supplements that he needs. I would not deal with either of them again. If you are going to sell animals the least you could do is give the proper information to a potential buyer and give them the care they need to keep them healthy until the sale.

Thank you all for your posts to answer my questions.

The posts regarding parenting skills and personal issues do NOT belong here. They were ridiculous and way off topic.

But for the few that responded to my actual questions and concerns...Thank you.

To Weaver 64

To Weaver 64. You are add libbing on here at our expense and that is uncalled for. I told you they didn't like to be held like other lizards, but yes you could hold them. I never said they were for kids either. You are on here lying about the fact that they had broken bones and were sick also. That is very false. I told you do get a book and do research before buying any animal and that was final. I could have cared less if you had bought anything. I gave you basic info and told you to research so you would feel more comfortable about one and to make sure that was the right animal for you.
I am glad that you believed whoever told you that info about the animal being sick- I am sure they appreciated your money. You very rude in your emails and then addmitted that you didnt do any type of research like I had suggested.
I had tried to be nice and cordial and help you, but you said that the chameleon was really fine and not to worry about it. I replied to your emails right away. I am glad that it is doing well. That was well over a year ago so it must not have been sick afterall. We don't sell animals that are not up to par or we wouldn't want to buy ourselves. We have been breeding these for many years and never had any problems or complaints. We take very good care of our animals.
Thanks for your time.

I have bought from Jason and Kelli multiple times, and I would gladly do so again. Kelli and Jason take excellent care of their animals and they give excellent information and advice about the animals they sell. I could never see Kelli telling someone that a chameleon is great for kids or selling one with MBD. I have not been to there KC show, but the Oklahoma show in Broken Arrow is great, so I would expect the KC one to be just as good. Just my experience with them.

I payed for a male yellow anaconda yesterday night and am expecting to recieve it tomarrow or Thursday. So far they have been very helpful and they sound like they know what they are talking about. From this point(as I have not recieved this animal) I plan to buy more from them and am very happy about how its gone so far.

I purchased a bottle of Flagyl from Golizards: I promptly received a bottle of Flagyl, and at a reasonable price. I'd definitely do business with them again.

I guess I will update this.
After I payed for the snake, he informed me that he did not have them. He had a ad on ks which stayed up for a week or 2. he told me that I could wait until monday and he would see if he could get me one. I asked for a refund and it was given. Although I was not particularly mad about the whole deal, he was still kind while on the phone and did not try to make me wait until that monday.
