    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Brian, I am not upset--I have repeated over and over that I understand your feelings.  True, I did have options.  I acted in a manner that I felt best accomplished what I needed to do.  I don't want to go into the details about this again, but I was unaware of the problem until a week ago.

By the way, you were right in one of your earlier postings.  Teachers do not make enough money.
 
Ok, today I recieved a package from JL containing 3 of the 6 temp probes I ordered.  I will assume the other 3 are in a separate box and on the way.  When I get those, I will post here and remove my paypal complaint.  Just keep everyone updated.  Brian
 
got mine today. sorry if I was a little harsh in previous post but it isn't fun waiting a month for something, and not getting a response  when I emailed. I do apologize for insinuating you were a crook.

Jeff, I didn't get any mail Monday, and I emailed you of that fact (I don't know if you got the email or not).  I did get my mail yesterday but there were no probes.  Do you have a tracking number for the second box?  Or if you want to send me the other 3 priority mail like you said, please feel free.  Brian

Got emails from Jeff stating he couldn't get the post office last week???  Then I got another one stating the probes were mailed priorty on Tues.  Well it's Thursday, and guess what no probes.  But, giving him the benefit of the doubt, priorty is 2-3 day service so they should be here tomorrow (we'll see).  Hey look at the bright side if they come tomorrow it will be exactly 40 days from when JL Herp got my money.

I hope they get here Jeff, I'll keep ya posted.  Brian

I know for a fact that Jeff doesn't have a computer at home right now...we're trying to make plans to meet in Daytona for the Reptile Breeders Expo in August.   Has he emailed you back yet?
 
Brian, replacements are on their way via Priority mail.  My home PC has been sent in for repair so it may take me a while to answer any questions if you have any.  I also sent a complaint to the Postmaster with the confirmation numbers of the packages you did not receive.  I doubt they will turn up at this point, but I felt it would be worth the try.

Jeff sent that email on 5/28.  I have been waiting on these probes for 50, five-zero, FIFTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! days, so at this point I dont care what his problem is.  I want my probes or I want my money back.  He has my email, he has my phone number, hell he can post a reply here or have you do it for him.  I requested tracking numbers for the supposed replacement shipment, NO response.  I've emailed him, NO response, I posted here, NO response from him, some of his friends have responded, but that really doesn't help me get what I paid for.  If you can get in touch w/ him please do so, and tell him to send my probes or refund my money.  That's all I want.  I don't like trashing people's reputations, but if he doesn't fix this, I will.  Any help in this matter is appreciated.

Well, the probes arrived today, June 17th with a postmark of June 14th.  So as promised I have advised everyone of their arrival and I will now withdraw my Paypal complaint.

Can't say as I'll ever order from JL again but you make your own descisions.
