• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I'm hoping someone can give me some feedback on Joe Black of Joe Black Reptiles located in Las Vegas, NV. I couldn't find anything on him on the BOI. Joe sent me Bill from ECM Reptiles email as a reference. Has anyone ever heard of either of these fellas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You got it. Sounds too good to be true right? I saw another ad where someone else was selling spider females for $1700 and that ad got taken down real quick. Not sure what exactly happened there.

LOL i knew it!......... unfortunately , with the way things are going with some of the Co-doms , the price just seems a little low. But i can see where you would be a little skeptical. lol , i was thinking about taking a stab at it too, but im gonna hold off. let me know how it goes , if you make a deal.

I, too, was looking at that female... I will be very interested to see what, if anything, comes up about Joe Black (though if he is reputable, I'm sure that female will be snapped up super-quick :) .)

bumping this back up cause I was looking at that spider too. I've seen several females at $2000 so if this really is legit it's not a big drop but just want to see if anyone else has done business with this person.

Did anyone end up purchasing this spider? I only ask because Joe Black Reptiles has a new ad and I'm trying to get more information about this breeder. Has anyone done business with Joe Black Reptiles?

Turns out they got it in a trade just then , a good friend of mine produced it and he verfied them for me , but I personally have not done business with them.

Have done business with joe and he has done everything that he said he would do, would recommend him as a good guy! :wavey:
 
Do not know Joe Black from Vegas, Thought this was Joe Black from Pa. who I have done a couple of good deals with. :shrug01:
