Inquiry: John Birgel

I have no clue who John Birgel is, and I have never done business with anyone by that name. But whoever he is, he is supposedly claiming somewhere that I have sold a het that did not prove out.

Here's the thing: I've sold VERY few hets... Here they are:

1.5 100% het blizzard Leopard Geckos (2002 sale, don't know their current status)

1.2 100% het anery boas (2003 sales, still not old enough to breed)

1.1 66% het albino retics (2003 and 2004 sales, also not old enough to breed)

That's it. There are NO MORE hets that I have sold. I will NOT allow my name to be dragged through the mud over something like this. That is why I am here, posting this. If I had something to hide, I would not come here.

Oh - I suppose you're wondering how I was notified of this... Through an email from another person I do not know, and have never done business with.

I found this while out looking for more details on what I may be accused of.

I've never sold a het albino boa to anyone. Especially a few years ago. The only boas I sold a few years ago were a colombian male and a central american female, and they went to Lori Kehoe. She's certainly not a big breeder.

Three years passed from that boa sale until my next boas sale, last year.

Just looks like Ryan's style, lacking any real information. Just running someone's name into the mud. Ryan does have an obsession with Mark, trying to discred him everywhere and anywhere.

Mark and Aimee have nothing worry about. There is NOTHING fraudulent about them whatsoever. Definitely good guys!

I am the one who originally emailed Mark and Aimee originally. I may have made a mistake, John said outback reptiles. I was just trying to get my facts straight, John had posted about getting scammed on k/s so I emailed him to find out who it was produced by, he said outback reptiles, when I heard outback I immediatley thought of Mark and Aimee. I have always heard good about them and just wanted to hear from them if it was true, if not give them a chance to defend themselves. For the record, I do not know any of the involved parties or this ryan guy. Craig Kade

Outback Reptiles is definitely NOT us. I have seen an "Outback Reptiles" advertising on Kingsnake occasionally, and have noticed the similarity in names.

From what I can find, Outback Reptiles is owned by Ian Gniazdowski, who I have also never heard of.

Lets set the record Straight

Hello, I am John Birgel I do not know who told out back reptiles that I had posted their name for doing bad business however I would like to rectify this and straighten some things out.
I was sold a Het Boa in the year 2000 that was purchased by a breeder. This Breeder told me that he purchased this boa from a company named Out Back Exotics, I thought he told it was Out Back Reptiles the person who sold him the fake het was also named to me his name is Rev. David Pollard he claims to be a partner with Outback exotics.
I have not posted to the open public any names at any time. I did tell people that emailed me about the situation and even then was candid about this who situation. The breeder Has done right by me and has replaced the fake het. I am going to continue doing business with this person because it was not his fault he was lied too.
I openly apologize to the Bergers for accidently getting their name drudged in the mud. I do not think it was right for Craig Kade to bring this into the public. It was my right to continue some detective work and find out who the exact person was who did the bad business dealing. Craig I see you have apologized but next time before you jump the gun you should ask the persons involved to get ther permission about putting the story out there. Not all the facts were in yet but now they are. You have Made my name look bad by jumping the gun and not waiting for the facts.

again apologize, but I DID NOT bring this to public forum, I emailed the person, and they brought it to a public forum, I was not happy about that choice either, but again it was my fault for the mix up. I wanted to give them the option of defending themselves. I would want that option if someone said something about me, however I now realize it was not even the right person.
