In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Actually no, I know of the scales that were inquired of and didnt feel the need to go too far off topic with my posts.

But since you have nothing of value to say to me about any dealings, what I do is none of your business...
I surf here a lot, if I have input for someone, I post it.
Since you ARE attempting to clear your name here, then do you really find it wise to try and mock quite a lot of potential customers on this forum?

HHMMMMM...

Read much? I QUIT THE REPTILE BUSINESS! Plus anyone that I have had to address on this page would never get a minute of my time anyways. All you people that made me look like crap that dont even know me should maybe think of appologizing about all them accusations but on the other hand that wouldnt be true BOI spirit would it?

ReticED I wonder why just now you are deciding to jump in the mix. Someone take your money and leave you stuck hahahahahahaha???

When I see stuff like that, even if I had ever considered doing business with someone, that would decide for me then and there NOT to have type of business transaction with them.

As for getting out of the business, I also believe I recall you saying you were trying to recover your 'good name.' And you took on a partner? Which is it? Oh well, doesn't really matter, after this fiasco, you've lost many customers.

Drop it guys, it's unnecessary.

Jason, the true BOI spirit is shown when someone searches for this thread again and sees the wonderful animals you sent out!

It doesn't matter in the long run if people never apologize, because strangers will see the end positive result as their final impression.

Jason,
You'll be back when you think enough time has past & when you think the coast is clear. I hope Jose is going to be ok seeming how he lost his position as accounts receivable for you. Your trying to make it look like you did such a great deed by actually shipping the snakes that were ordered, thats not a great deed it's whats expected. You'll be back & we'll be right on your tail again.

LMAO

I never said i did a great deed its i did come threw on the deal and it bothers all of you who doubted me.

You do take peoples money and then ship them animals 2nd day instead of overnight and refuse to do anything about it when they arrive DOA though. As far as I am concerned , you have not cleared your name in the slightest. I am sure you knew that it is illegal to ship USPS and I am sure that you read the email correctly that stated not to send USPS and did not mistake it for UPS. You are full of lies, and as for the picture of the snake, it doesm't look that great to me, but then I have exceptional animals. You are and will always be a bad guy in my book.

For the record, honestly, I never really doubted that you would come through with the snakes. I saw nothing that indicated to me that you would not provide the exact animals you promised (and you did) What prompted my post, and my coment about never doing business with you, was your attitude about the whole thing. You showed a complete lack of respect toward everyone, and you are the one who made yourself look like crap. We can not do that, only you can. There are a few people out there who I truly believe have wonderful animals, and who I think are totally honest business people but I would still not do business with them because I don't like the attitude they present. You happen to be one of these people.

The truth be told, If you really want to turn your reputation around (and you did that to some extent by sending Cheryl what she paid for) and continue in this business then I hope you succeed. I do not wish failure on anyone who wants to be one of the good guys. If you are intent on being honest and responsible from now on great, that is what this business needs. You do not need my business to be successful, and my opinion really counts little to anyone except myself. Just a friendly word of advice, and this goes out to everyone, not just you, if you want to be successful you have to be able to keep your attitude in check. First impressions are immportant, and if you tick people of from the start you may never have the chance to get them back. For many people, such as myself, this thread was their introduction to you. It left me with an very negative attitude toward you and that will be very hard to change.

A suggestion for the future

Jason,

I'm glad that the pythons made it alive. If in the future you change your mind and try to sell again you should strongly consider reviewing your shipping methods. Now you know it’s against the law to ship snakes through the USPS (at least you got that from the BOI!). Please take the following as a constructive suggestion. Whenever posting an animal for sale if you are not fully sure about the characteristics of the species in question check with someone else first. It might save you some headaches. Here is part of your original ad:

1.3 CBB Baby Ball pythons 0.1 ADULT FEMALE BALL PYTHON

I Have 1.3 CBB baby ball pythons Tame, good eaters, parasite free. 0.1 CBB Adult Ball python Tame, GREAT EATER, parasite free.
Asking $125+shipping for the babies and $50+shipping for the adult female or take the whole 1.4 for $200shipped.

And here are Cheryl's words:

The snakes were exactly as described in the advertisement. In fact perhaps a bit better. The larger one was guest-a-mated at 500 grams. She is in fact 750 grams. I probed her and she probed 4 subcaudal scales on the left and 6 on the right (Thats a bit large but still within reason of being a female)

Your best “guestimate” for the larger female was 500 g and the actual weight was 750 g (which you did not know initially). She could not be labeled as an adult ball python (a juvenile or maybe a sub-adult pushing it) even at the actual weight. Judging by her real weight she is probably a 2 year-old and has probably one more year ahead of her before producing the first clutch. When I saw your ad I immediately figured a 1,500 g plus female, that’s what most of the people breeding ball pythons will think when they read “adult female”.

Regards.

Alvaro makes a very good point. I too would have thought that an adult female would be at least 1500 grams. A 750 gram ball is not an adult. The prices would have sent up a red flag for me personally. Charging only 125.00 for 4 baby ball pythons that are supposedly captive born seems strange to me that puts them at only 31.25 each. An adult CBB female for $50.00?? Like I said, the prices would send up a red flag for me. I wonder if these ball pythons are really cbb and if they are feeding? I guess we will soon find out.

I don't know if they are feeding yet, have not tried to feed them yet. Gonna try later tonight.

As far as the weight of the "Adult" I agree that calling her an adult could be misleading. The only reason I say they were exactly as represented is because I had also read the earlier advertisement which stated:

1.3 CBB baby ball pythons Tame great eaters selected out of 4 seperate clutchs. Parasite free.
0.1 CBB 3+ft 500+grams ball python 2001 Tame Parasite free This girl is my trash can as im sure everyone with a snake collection has one of those.
Take the 1.4 for $210shipped, or $40each plus shipping for the babies, and $65+shipping for the Adult Female.

I honestly can't say if the are CBB, but $40 each for babies and $65 for a subadult from a completely unkown breeder sounded reasonable to me. I figured he was trying to build a rep with the good prices.

As far as the animals, I see no scars or signs of external parasites. They are a bit thin....compared to my fat ball pythons, but a few months of the easy life here should plump them right up. (I actually have one mid 02 male at almost 800 grams....I'm begining to wonder if he is gonna have to go on a diet!)

I do think you need to change your attitude Jose/Jason.....I don't think the one your using is helping you at all......and really....a good rep at the BOI will go a long way in allowing you to command higher prices in the future.

As you requested I will post the rest of the pics of the babies later tonight or tomarrow. I said I would fairly represent the condition I recieved the animals in, and I am.....my reputation is very important to me. I'm on my kids PC right now and don't have the pics saved to this PC, so I will have to do that later though.

I always keep documentation on every snake I own telling me exactly where and when I got them. What do you want these 5 documented as? Coming from Jose Dominguez, Jason Limbough, Jose/Jason or Jsnakes......whichever name I put on the tags now will be the name I will reference when asked for references, and any future costumers will have to use that name when asking me for a reference (Yeah, I do have enough snakes now that a few months from now I will have to reference the tag to tell you where any one of my animals came from)

Read much? I QUIT THE REPTILE BUSINESS!
Oh really?
Is that why you are trying to clear your name?
Is that why you have a partner?
Is that why you registered in these forums just to sell your snakes that you just acquired?

Pics of the smaller snakes

Said I'd post them, here they are.

Last one of the little ones. I posted a pic of the big one earlier this afternoon when I posted pics of the packing box. I have now offered all 1.5 live food. The larger female has taken 2 rat crawlers, none of the smaller animals have taken feed yet, but are sitting with a rat pinkie and a mouse crawler in their tubs hoping they will choose to feed.

Cheryl,

Those are nice looking baby balls! They look plump and healthy for their size. But their weight...mid sixties and seventies g? Those are low weights for a second shed (unless they were incredibly small newborns), and it has to be a second shed if they are "good eaters". Of course I might be wrong, but they look more like in their first shed, which might put them under 15 days of age. Have you checked their navel? Is it still fairly visible; like a slit-cut?

Regards.

got all the little ones sitting with feed in their tubs still. None have accepted the feed offered. Each tub has a live rat pinkie and a live mouse fuzzy, niether large enough to cause injury to the snakes. I plan to go ahead and leave them overnight. (It's late and I'm tired....want to go to bed myself) and see if they have eaten either by morning. I will check navals then. As I recall I believe I did see one that had what looked like it could be a scabed over umbilical cord on the belly, but I don't know enough about neo-nate snakes to have any idea if that is in-fact the case. Luckily I have the handy digital camera.....if you think it's a concern I will photo all the bellies tomarrow. Like I said, the babies where a bit smaller than I expected....but Jose/Jason never gave a wieght or a guess on wieght for them, so if I expected them larger thats only me making un-qualified assumptions.

They are nice looking little guys aren't they? I particullarly like the bright yellow on the 59 gram female (I think thats one of the females, I am not confident enough to pop them, and they don't look large enough to probe!) She? is much brighter than the pic shows.
