• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Anyone had dealings with Ken Casstenens. I just purchased a 100%het for albino boa and it was deleivered today but has a huge sore on the top of its nose. He never told me anything about this injury prior to selling it to me and I am more then a little disappointed. the snake is about 4-1/2 feet in length and looks good otherwise but the sore on the nose looks bad and will need treatment.
Thanks,
John

Is your name Michael or John??
Anyway have you talked to Ken about this yet? might want to give him a chance to deal with this before basically calling him a bad guy. Snakes can do a lot of damage to themselves in a bag, I once bought a Carpet python at a show that was fine when I stuck her in the bag but by the time I got her home her nose was raw from pushing and rubbing the bag. Talk to Ken and see what he says.. Randy

This injury was not something that happened in the twelve hour trip to my place. This animal shed 4 hours after getting here and the sore is deep, red, and oozing. This is not a simply a nose rub. I will be taking in to the vet today to have it looked at and get antibiotics to ward off infection. I have sent Ken a couple of messages but no response. I am not calling him a bad guy but would like to know if anyone else has had dealings with him and I am hoping that he will make things right.
as far as the name it is John Michael

I have dealt with Ken numerous times over the last several years and would recommend him to anyone. You posted this thread the same day that you received the animal. You really need to give Ken a chance to respond to you.
