Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I would say that I know or, I am at least slightly familiar with, most of the breeders in Florida. I have never heard of her. The hotmail account is another factor, albeit not a definitive one, in assessing legitamacy.

I would ask for solid references before I sent money out unless someone reputable jumps on here and posts in her favor. I am not trying to say anything bad about her but the telltale indicators dictate caution

Just my opinion though

let me shed some light on the subject

the truth of the mater is that melisa is dans estranged wife. dan woke up one day and just took off leaving melisa with a stack of bills. he has not been heard of in about 6 months. melisa is just trying to sell off the boas that she has a substantial investment in seeing that now that dan is out of the picture she is just trying to recoup her lost funds. i dont know if this helps anyone any but melisa is one of the sweetest individuals anyone will ever meet and i have seen the animals personaly and know they are what they are being sold as and i know some of the animals were purchased from jeremy stone so im sure he will have no problem verifing that they are what they are being sold as
 
That is exacty the sort of reassurance I was looking for. Something from Jeremy himself. But when one tends to leave four voicemails, and three emails for someone and Still does not receive a reply; it tends to only further the bad taste that accrues in your mouth from the whole deal...

If that's true I feel bad for her but that's not the message I got from Melissa when I inquired about the Sunglow male. Her first email made it seem like she knew exactly where Dan was and that she was going to S. America to join him as soon as the Boas were sold. I came here and found this thread after I e-mailed her about the Sunglow the first time and I e-mailed her back. I informed her of this thread and told her I wasn't interested in dealing with Dan. In her next e-mail she defended him completely telling me he has been in buisness 15 years without a problem and now they've made enough to retire to S. America.

Somethings not right and that doesn't sound like an EX wife talking. With Dans rep I just wasn't comfortable sending that much money to someone who was leaving the country to see him right after she got my money. :bolt01:

I must have been misinformed. it sure would be nice if melisa or dan could come here and clear things up. all i know that melisa is a sweet girl and i dont see her doing anyone wrong and if i had the cash available to me right now i would gladly purchase either the motley het albino or the sunglow from her both are awesome animals if anyone feels safer i would gladly act as a go between on any deals that they would want to work out with melisa im only about a half hour away from her so it wouldnt be a problem on my end
