Randy, you are looking at things as black n white. That is fine when there is not such a large gray area. Also, all one would need to do is look at that video. I guess that shows class? I think not IMO.

This is not just about breeding and selling ball pythons. But is about how he has gotten this website he now claims to own. Also how did the lizard lady get access to the auction? Come on Randy, can you not put two and two together? Rumor has it that someone has taken a real liken to a ex-porn star and known scammer. So how did she get back on the auction? It would not have anything to do with MKR being a (Moderator PLUS), on that group of sites?

Before anyone decides to question her as a scammer. If you are knowingly missrepresenting animals, than you are 100% scammer in my book. If you think not, let me or anyone sell you a albino boa, but then send you a 100% normal. You got a boa, but was it a scam. You bet ya, 110%.

Not just that but if you want facts, lets talk about facts. Last year they charged 14,000.00 For a Mojave. Knowing dang good and well that THEY were going to drop the bottom out on the price of them this year, to lets say around $800.00. But that was good business, correct?

I might add, dropping the price on animals they do not even have. They do not have enough Mojaves to fill these orders. This is my opinion based on breeders contacting me telling me that they have been and still are now trying to buy Mojaves to fill their orders. IMO, this is a scam, but this is my opinion. If nothing more, it would be very poor business. I am not a breeder of ball pythons and have no dog in that fight, but it looks like a bunch of crap from where I see it.

Something to ponder. Lets say I was to sell animals at these Ks as they did. Knowing all the time you were going to breed them. Also knowing I was going to cut your throat the fallowing year by dropping the bottom out on these same animals to mere $100s . Is this what you would call a good guy? I think not!!! I see it as a very poor breeder/seller in our hobby. That is all I see.

On the subject of the video...

I keep hearing about these buildings they have for breeding and housing all these snakes but nothing like that was on the video. I've seen lazy boy recliners, shrubs, glass pane windows casting pretty reflections of trees, a fireplace with columns and some funky statues on the mantle, and I think a kitchenette set, and one snake.

I hope the next video they show what the place looks like and how its all done at MKR. I'd like to see the breeding facility, the caging, you know....things that a big breeder like these guys would be proud of and proud of showing off. I don't think thats asking for a whole lot and certainly it wouldn't take up huge portion of the whole video.

I guess I'm just more excited in seeing things about the kings business and how its all done so kingly than I am with seeing the way the king lives and keeps warm and cozy on a cold winters night.

What folks are asking you to do is back up what you are alluding to, with some facts. How helpful do you think it is for those trying to use the BOI for its intended purpose, having you adding opinions without backing anything up. I am not defending MKR, rather, I am defending the poor soul trying to understand all this nonsense in order to decide on whether to purchase from them or not. Think about why this forum even exists, and try to support it with usable information. (IMO)

I mentioned to Wes the other day in not as many words pretty much what Seamus said here yesterday. But I had no facts and was just as they say putting things together.

I have no facts to the contrary so look at threads like this about MKR and see that one-the guy comes off like a jerk but he backs up what he sells and seems to have great customer service. Where you and others here keep saying this and that about this company but provide no facts. People bashing MKR here look far worse than the object of their hatred and when people point that out to them they seem totally oblivious to what they are doing and just keep on.. Look at the Damage Ed has done to his reputation over this! and he's not alone and I'd hate to see you Bobby damage your reputation over this witch hunt. Starting to look bad ? The list of what amounts to BS here is already off the page. Once again a textbook example of people's reputations and livelihoods attempting to be trashed by innuendo and incriminating opinions being passed as foregone conclusions and fact. What has disappointed me the most is that, typical of the BOI, matters of opinion, where there certainly is not anything close to unanymity, if even a clear majority, has decided that they have some moral obligation to save the reptile world as they see it. Its not enough that they adjust their own actions accordingly, but they must also pursue a course of action designed to diminish, if not harm, others. I know guys, its "for the greater good". What a crock.

FYI Randy, a few of us have backed MKR's actions. Joe's personality is irrelevent to many of us. A few here have taken strong positions based on "matters of principle". As in the quote in my signature, seems once again a few in the BOI have confused differences in opinion as being flaws in the principle of the other guy. Some even made it sound like they were choosing to almost be martyrs for "principle". Well ...... knock yourselves out.

I remember me this time, not too long ago but before some of you were born.

I was fishin, down Abalama way and struck up a conversation with a fellowfisherman who had the damndest style.

Seemed he was not real good at waiting, in fact, he had to be moving all the time, changing his spot in the stream, talking about bait, checking the sun and the angle of shadows on the water and how different they were from the shadows on other creeks in the area at this time of day, wondering why leaves were green and how the spots on a nice trout knew what colour to be but the goshdarndest thing about this loquacious piscadorian, was his proclivity to cast.

His bait would barely hit water and he'd be reeling it in to cast it again. If by chance some poor fish wanted to take his bait, it had better be real quick. He would cast and reel and cast and reel, and nary a pause between the two.

Now, every once in a while, he did actually catch a fish. And there are fishermen that will tell you stories of fish that jumped into their boats, not even bothering with the hook and line and sinker.

They both happened with about the same frequency.

I see a lot of guys who went to the same school of fishing as that poor guy.
