    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Has anybody done business with Mooresnakes from Phoenix AZ?
I'm looking to make a deal with them, and would like to know how other deals went, as well as genetic guarantee (I'm looking to buy a 100% het from them)
Any input would be appreciated - I can't find anything on him on the BOI as of yet.

Not sure about him either

I had a few trade deals set up that fell through.He has lots of snakes posted--they are ALL "HETS" yet he isnt the breeder.It would seem to me that there would be SOME possible hets and SOME morphs mixed in with these but there isnt.Its hard to say since the pricing of these hets is about $100/snake more than non-hets.I would insist on confirmation from the breeder he got them from.Jeff
 
Thanks Jeff. My thoughts exactly. I did find out that the snake in question was produced by Matt Salyer from Fantasy reptiles (Who by the way is a great guy to deal with). Just so happens that I made a deal with him (Matt) a week or so prior to this, so I contacted him. He said that he did sell him (Moore) some snakes, including a het Hypo female. My problem is, I want to deal with THE guy that produces the animal - that way, if I don't get what I'm paying for, I know EXACTLY where to go. Example - I buy a het Hypo and breed her to a Hypo male - I should get at least a hypo or two out of it. If I don't, I know who to talk to - no runaround.
By the way, my deal with him fell through also (wouldn't take paypal), and I wanted the extra security of being able to dispute charges if the deal went sour. Haven't heard back from him since. Hmmmmmm.

Moore Snakes = Good Guy

Just here to post my experience with Moore snakes. We completed a trade of his Brazilian rainbow boas ( 1.1 ) for my new guinea carpets ( 1.1 ). He was quick to answer all emails. His customer service was the best and shipped ASAP with appropriate shipping methods - (Styro lining, heat packs, overnight...etc.). My Brazilians are doing great and he was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him to anyone as an honest seller.

Scott.... if you want security for a potential ANIMAL deal.... DO NOT GO THROUGH PAYPAL!!.... Once PayPal finds out that the deal involved a "living animal".... ALL BETS ARE OFF!!.... They will NOT get your money back on live animals.... Your best bet is to go through your credit card directly to issue funds.... at least your credit card company doesn't care if it's an animal.... You might want to read PayPal's TOS to see for yourself....
Just some thoughts for the future....

This is totally off topic, but might help some others planning on doing as "Brandon" has done. I was sitting here reading this with my 11 year old neighbor peeking over my shoulder, and before even reading the next post by Saul Allen, he said "gee, how obvious can they be, how pathetic". He at once picked up the glowing remarks and the "Posts:1" indicator.

Guys if you're going to invent fake people for fake posts, at least make it a little less glaring that you're going to be doing so! If a child who has never been on this board can see through it after reading one thread...

And I do apologize to the admin, I know this board is NOT intended for kids, and I won't be reading this with kids in the house again :)

I have worked with mooresnake over the past 6 years. He has always come through on his deals. if he says its het then its het. he's a good guy.
I also know for a fact that the other post is not fake. I think some one should apologies. I don't think it was a very intelligent assumption

I have made a couple deals with them and had great luck.The snakes were exactly what they were advertised as and were shipped with care.

As for the comment of the security of pay-pal???????????Take it from me that if you are the least bit unhappy and used a credit card with pay-pal you have alot of pull to get your $ back.
I sold a yearling mole king to a guy that payed me with pay-pal (visa)and when I sent it to him he was very unhappy and said it was a brand new hatchling that couldn't even eat a new born pink (it was a yearling and had ate about 10 times no prob)and that it was just going to die.
He contacted his credit card company and they made pay-pal give them back the money and my account was charged the $ plus a fee and he never returned the merchandise?Be very carefull with pay-pal.

I don't have much to say, but since I do have SOMETHING to say, I thought I would... this last fall I went to a show here in Arizona... Their booth was right next to my favorite breeders booth (fave breeder: Kerby Ross of Lonesome Valley Reptiles).... I had gone to the show of buying a male "Goini" (outdated species name) aka Blotched or Apalachicola king. I found only two "Goini" at the show, both were hatchlings (I didn't want a hatchling) and were UGLY (it happens) and were labeled "GOINGS" instead of "Goini" .... they were at the table of Mooresnakes. Because they couldn't spell the name, and they were ugly, and I wanted an older animal, I decided to pass on buying from them, and instead bought an amel king from Kerby.

So that's my experience. They DID have a very beautiful patternless blizzard king hatchling on their table, but I wasn't in the market for it, and it didn't have a price tag on it, and I was reluctant to buy from them as they couldn't even label a Goini properly.

This kind of ad irritates me and also goes a long way towards determining if I'll be doing business with someone. Wording can be fun. Wording can be a pain in the butt. No matter what though, when placing an ad, WORDING SHOULD BE TRUE.

When I read the title above a big red flag went up. That's pretty cheap for an albino honduran. So I looked. Guess what? Read below to see.

It seems that the title DIRECTLY opposes what the ad itself says. If one is true the other can not be also true. Either the snake is an albino, AS ADVERTISED, or it's not.

Based solely on this I would avoid mooresnakes. Given that they don't know ghoini from going, well, there are GOOD, REPUTABLE breeders out there who must need my money and to them I'll give it, not people like this.
 
I have been having some serious computer problems this weekend and couldn't get a screen shot to work so I just copied and pasted the ad from ks.
 
Well I Dont Even Know Where To Start Here. I Guess Ill Start With With Sasheena. Did It Ever Dawn On You That A Snake Show Is Not The Easiest Thing To Run. It May Appear That Way To You As You Glide On By The Tables Without An Ounce Of Respect For How Much Work Goes Into Preparing For A Show. I Think Spelling The Name Wrong On A Snake Tub Is An Honest Mistake, And Did Not Need To Be Blown Up As Large As You Did. As Far As The Guy Talking About The Albino Hondo, Have You Lost Your Mind. An Albino Tri Color Honduran At That Price Is Unbeatable, He Would Have No Reason To Lie About It Being Het For Tangerine. He Did Not Raise The Price Because It Is Het. He Just Simply Threw That Fact In There For Your Information. I Wish You People Would Either Find Something Worth Bringing Up On This Thread, Or Just Quit Your Whining. Branden Burroughs

I would read that ad to mean that one of the parents of the Tri Color Albino was a Tangerine. Would you read it differently?
