    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry on bearded pets?

You are not the only one Jarvis. They are still insisting the snakes are what they say they are. He offered to take mine back and send me new ones because my male wasn't feeding but I felt the same way. Will they really send me something back?

Well what do you know. They are now selling possible yellow bellies. May not be yellow bellies but their friend says there is a 95% chance that they are so they want a lot of money for the male import that probably cost them $5.

We have a possible yellow belly ball python we can not guarantee that he is a yellow belly but we are 95% shore.
He was a import about 2-3 weeks ago and he has been treated for all parasites he is eating great on frozen thawed rat pups. We will sell him for only $500 Shipped.
We had him looked at by our friend and he said he looks like a yellow belly compared to his others. This would make a great investment !

If "my friend" who has yellow bellies told me that it was 95% chance, and looked very similiar to what he has in his collection, I bet he'd buy it for $500 before I could post it.....then prove it out, sell the offspring for twenty times as much as he spent on the animal, then sell the animal for double what he sold the offspring for.....

How great can a fresh import be feeding within 2-3 weeks??? Since when did you start feeding your ball pythons rat pinks?? You were feeding 8 month old het for albino pinkies just a month or so ago?????? Get the freak real man....
 
In looking at the belly in the second picture what I see is a severely undernourished ball python.

OK, I just looked at the actual ad and its clear that the "yellow belly" has never eaten, EVER.

That thing is one of the nappiest imports I have seen thus far.

Way to go TRUNK.................
 
That second pic of the "possible yellow belly" looks more like a snake that has never fed, malnourished, and has liver/kidney problems causing jundice which gives it that "yellow" coloration.
 
Speaking of decaying, I've been waiting this whole time to hear an explanation of the clearly dead eyeballess mummified Draco lizard that Bearded was trying to sell a few months back. Maybe then it will stop haunting my dreams.

Dealings with Bearded Pets

I saw the ad that Bearded Pets had for a pair of %100 het pied BP's on KS and was intrigued to say the least. They were offering to start bidding on this pair at $1200 and the highest bidder won the snakes. I thought what the heck and I threw in a bid of $1500. I recieved an email from Jon saying I won the snakes and that I could pay with pay pal or a MO. I wrote back and said I would pay with pay pal if he would give me the info. He emailed back and said that I could send it to his friends account. I instantly thought that was strange so I emailed him back and said I wanted him to call me so I could talk to him a little more about the snakes. He did call and he seemed to know what he was talking about and he even gave me references so I could check on him. I called one of his references and they said that they had never bought anything from him and that he had only bought normal balls from him in the past. He also told me to check this site for and inquiry on him, which I did and I'm thankful for that. I didn't ever get back to Jon and I noticed tonight that the pair is back on KS for, you guessed it $1500. I don't know if this guy is legit or not but I'm thankful for this website and everyones input because I think it saved me from paying $1500 for a normal pair of balls. I just hope the next person takes the time to check this guy out.

I'm really glad that Bearded pointed Randy to this thread, and while it seems there is really no more that can be said about Bearded I'm happy that this thread has stayed on the first page of BOI to warn others. I just can't understand why Kingsnake hasn't removed these people. Most reptile websites/classifieds were started out of a love of the hobby, so why would Kingnake or anybody want to let someone come into their site and essentially rob there other members/visitors? Very odd.

Because Jeff only cares about the money he gets from these crooks for the use of his site.
 
That's extremely sad. That said, I know that there are a great many breeder/dealer out there that don't have that "cash-is-king" attitude.
