    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i was on the the other site, and browsing the classifieds section. mr. John Domke is selling some 2 year old albino hets. i was wondering if anyone has delt with him..and if hes a reputable breeder.

i did search the boi, and found only one thread on him, and it was from a couple of years ago. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks. philip wheeles

I Recently completed a purchase of 3 adult corns (1. amel, .2 snows) from John. He worked very well with me and answered all questions. The corns were perfect. No problems at all. I would buy from him again with no hesitation....Another GREAT GUY... :) :yesnod:
 
I bought a jungle carpet python from him a four or five years ago and was very satisfied with the transaction. I would buy from him again without a second thought. Hope this helps.

I sold an adult female corn to John a couple of years ago. Met up with him at the Anaheim NARBC. He's been in the hobby for quite a few years and I have never heard anything negative. I would not hesitate to buy or sell to him.

I bought a knoblochi king from him at the San Diego Reptile Breeders Show in 1996 and it is still alive and produced babies for me several times including last year. I also bought a female grayband from him on another occasion but I can't remember what year it was. It also thrived and produced babies for me until I eventually sold it. I have not bought anything else from him but I have seen him many times at that show and I think at Anaheim as well. He displays some really nice Jungle Carpets, among other things and I think he is a good guy in it for the long term.
 
I spent the last week or more trying to buy one of his Mexican Black kings from him he listed on Kingsnake. I would only get one reply a day (in the morning) so I figured he was busy. Everything seemed fine and I told him several times I wanted to buy it. He told me he took money orders only so I asked where do I send it.

I don't have a few of the emails but in one of them he did say he had a Mex Black (all black) snake for me. I have not heard from him in 2 or 3 days so... I can only guess why he strung me along.

I understand, it's business but at least contact the person you strung along for over a week and tell them what is up. (It's called having CLASS John)

I will not buy from him.

No I can't, I clean out my mail box from time to time and those were the ones from a few days ago. I didn't think I needed to save them... I'm just posting my experience with John. He may have a legit reason why he stopped emailing me or decided to back out of the deal. No big deal really...

I've told him several times I wanted the snake. It just took so long because he only emailed once a day. I know it is a $30.00 snake but if it's what I want and as he described I would have paid extra for it. I gave him no reason to believe other wise. I asked for his address to send the MO and all.

It's no big deal. I don't mean to get that involved over it. He changed his mind for whatever reason and in his shoes I might have as well. It's just bad luck for me, I have been wanting an all black Mexican king baby and from what he said he had what I was looking for. To me that am worth the price, to someone else it may not be.

I have no other problem with the guy. He probably is a cool guy with great snakes. He didn't do anything wrong, just had high hopes I guess that I found what I wanted and after a week or more it feels like he was playing games. Good luck to him.
 
I recieved an email from him today. Guess he was out of town... No big deal.

Things like this happen.
