In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

His classifieds were still on Reptimart, or whatever the reptibid classified section is called. I just alerted the admin people. All his auctions are closed but they didnt say why, so people are leaving messages for him giving him their email address as they still want the critters.....but at least they shut him down for now....

I emailed Matt Loll of Mystic Herps on Wednesday the 14th to let him know about this ordeal and the scam artist using his business name. He wrote me back last night but I didn't open that email account until about 3am today. I responded to it but he won't get my email until some time this morning, I'm sure.
In his email to me he was very surprised to hear that this was going on. He knew nothing about it and is actually unfamiliar with fauna classifieds and the boi as well. I had to send him a link to this thread. He informed me that he is sole owner of Mystic Herps in MO and I believe him 100%
He'll be here soon to clear up his inadverdant involvement in this fiasco via the unlawful use of his business name by known liar and thief Mike Roe.
Part of my posting this is also to get this thread to the top where it will be easy for him to find since he is unfamiliar with the BOI.

This is Detective Dwight Taylor with the Urbandale, Iowa police department. I was contacted by Greg Riso regarding his loss of more than $500.00 as a result of ordering snakes from the internet from Mike & Mandy Roe.
Greg also advised me that there are other people who have been scamed by these people. I wouold appreciate anyone that has lost money by placing orders with Mike or Mandy Roe to contact me so that I might have additional information on their activities. Also anyone that has lost money to these people, and who have filed complaints with their local police department, please provide me with a case number and a contact person.

Sorry for the double reply, I am just learning this posting system since it is a bit different than KS or Reptiles magazine forums.
Brian has allready stated my address, and here is my telephone as well if that will help clear anything up (after 4pm central/ before 9pm) 417-581-2446. My life is quite busy right now as my mother is in the hospital (reason for my slow replies to Brain) but this Tuesday on would be the best to call.
FYI, i am single, living with a lovely lady, and my daughter in a small town in Missouri called Nixa.
Pennbaker knows me from the frilled dragon forum on KS, and poison frog from the same forum has been out to my house to pick up my frilleds, and cage (given the reason i dont go to the frilled forum anymore)
My main fortay used to be crocodilians, but i have over the last three years switched to snakes for the most part, since this is the first place i have lived/ owned that i can keep snakes in. As of present i am raising up breeders for the future. These include kenya sand boas, red tailed boas, corn snakes, western hognose, blood pythons, ball pythons, albino corn snakes, and i always keep a scorpion or two around.
Since i am not selling anything right now, and havent for some time, i refer any potential customers of mine to my friends herp shop called Finley Valley Serpentarium. His fortay is hot snakes, but i help him where i can with referals from serious buyers.
It seems that this Mike and Mandi persons operating under the same name are people that i want to keep my good business name seperated from.

Unless Mike rips other people off how do you expect him to be able to pay us back? Just kidding of course. Have you notified Detective Taylor that Mike Roe is still using the internet to scam people? It might be grounds for him to be able to throw Mike and Mandi behind bars where they belong that much faster.

Need everyone's help!!!
I just spoke to Det. Taylor. He wants to bring charges on Mike!!!! But he needs more people to come forward. I pulled 12 user names off of reptibid who Mike as mysticherps1 ripped off. Can someone tell me how to contact these people? I've tried finding user profiles but can't!
Also anyone past or present that mike has ripped off please drop me an email inlcuding amounts, and all pertinent facts, and a way for the Detective to contact you- [email protected].
Mike ripped off the 12 people on reptibid for $2518.50....a FELONY level amount so we might be able to put him behind bars!!! I just really need everyone's help!
If he still owes you money for anything, drop me an email!!!
I'll be putting them all together and sending them to the Detective..
