Hi, I checked them over, that was all I could do. I was purchasing them as female, 100% hets. It was a deal I couldn't pass up. As far as $150 for the snow, I will disagree that, in my opinion, is not a $150 snake. Snows for the same size, unsexed, went for about $80-90 at the recent show. If this snow is a female, which will be probed hopefully tomorrow and I will post results (should I post photos or how will I verify that other than a "yes, it was probed female/male?)...

The trade was $70 cash for three heat mats that were warped and not functioning new which I have since put away out of use because I will not use them if they do not put out consistent heat, it is DANGEROUS!

I asked you if they were eating and you could not provide proof, I had a hard time getting the snow to eat but have finally got it to eat. The issue here is not the health of the animal versus the fact you are putting random "hets" on animals and selling them as females when they are male. That being said, I still have not probed them. I also have not proved out your "100%" hets, either, and won't be able to for a while.

That was all I could really promise. I'm sorry the adapter is broken, but I also said if there was anything wrong that you have my number and I will make the trip back to try to fix whatever I could. You did not notify me of this in any instance.

Jason, we have no issues, I had someone who was looking to make a trade on one of the hets I received from you and they wanted to know if you had any threads on Fauna. When I searched and found none, I thought I'd make a thread to try to get some good reputation for you, it was going to help us both out. I was even planning on posting good reputation once I sexed the snakes and/or proved out the hets. I still want to believe these three Kenyans are female, and if they are that's going to give you a good reputation as well. But, as things are looking, it might not go that way. I am hoping for us both these snakes probe out as female.

Moral of the story I suppose is don't make claims (sex or hets) that you can't back up.

Jason, I hope that things clear up for you if these snakes prove out to be all female. I will post my findings when I get them, hopefully tomorrow.

Sorry, I didn't fully explain the trade because I got a little antsy.

The trade was $70 cash plus a Paintball gun, a CO2 tank, and a mask, there may have been more but I wasn't sure. The value I was trying to get for the paintball gun on craigslist was $60-75, not including the extra "gear" he got. I'm not a big paintballer, so I can't really say what the value of the extras were.

It's not worth the trouble for me and I think I'd rather take care of the snakes myself for their well being. I have had the snakes for a while now and between my friend and I, he has put in quite a bit of work into these guys. No sense in trading them back where they might just get thrown right back onto CL as females het something-or-other. Should have thrown a red flag when he told me the snow was het for something crazy... Well, if these snakes are true hets I might not be in for as big of a loss as I'd thought. Either way, I made the trade for females, not a 1.2...

Since you chose to create a new account and drag this thread back up from the depths, one would tend to assume that you now have some reason to want to change how you're perceived here. If that's the case, your apology is a half-assed tactic, at best. At the very least, I'd say that you owe the OP for the difference in value between your misrepresentation and what she was supposed to receive. Words are wind. How about some action?
