    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry on "Tom Crutchfield"

John Apple, I called Tom a few minutes ago and apprised him of this thread. He said he hasn't seen it, and I read him part of it, plus your reply.

He said you guy's must have had a bad deal or something long ago and was willing to discuss it with you. He told me he would be more than happy to pay for a plane ticket for you to come to Ft. Lauderdale to discuss your issue's with him in a gentlemanly fashion.

He said the offer is genuine and I believe him. Email him or call him and take him up on his offer, who knows, maybe things can be made right. Also, this could be a bonus for you, because if you come within the next two weeks, Tom said his albino Green iguana's should be hatching out, I saw those at last years Daytona show, and they are SWEET!

John, I would say you take him up on the offer. Find a way to make it right. I doubt Tommy would do anything stupid and get arrested again. Worst case scenario is you go down and get a free weekend vacation and get to see some newborn alb green iguana's. Hey Tommy, how bout paying me for the gas to go down and back to check out your collection? I am sure you have something there that I would want. :) :) :) :) :)

I just talked to Tom and he is sincere. Unless that is that he is afraid of talking it out man to man with Tommy. From what I remembered he send another snake free of charge and shipping to rectify the problem, but I could be wrong. Would not surprise me. Again, he is/will not do anything stupid and end up behind bars again. Why not deal face to face and have all these other noninvolved bystanders involved. If I have a problem with someone I deal with it in person and not hiding behind a computer miles and miles away... The one MAJOR problem with the BOI is people get to say whatever they want when sitting behind their computer, but will not deal with it in person. If I where John I would accept the ticket tomorrow morning but that is just me. :) :) :)

What you people are saying is nothing more than hearsay. Supposedly Mr. Crutchfield made this offer but there is no proof of what you are saying.

If Tom has something to say he should come here himself and say it. Sending memos through his friends who are members here is complete nonsense. It is also (I believe) in violation of the rules to posting on the BOI.

The one MAJOR problem with the BOI is the occasional newbie jackass who will go balls to the wall for his pal without first reading the rules, Joe.
 
Jesus F@#$ing Christ.... Why doesn't he then contact Tommy direct. His phone number is publicly listed.....It amazes me that people have the guts(balls) to say this stuff over the internet but will not deal with it directly in person....... That is what is wrong with the BOI. In concept it could be the best thing ever to get people into herpotology but after reading this crap why would anyone want to buy a herp. The only things that MOST people do is get into pissing matches b/c they like or disli8ke certain people. Be a man and grab a pair and deal with it head on. No disrespect intended here ladies. It just seems like people will post whatever but never say or do anything at public at the shows......The big thing that sucks here is that I will be branded b/c of my posts here and I have NEVER ripped anyone off and I am by no means anyones BIOTCHHHH here. I simply say it as I see it. And Yes I have dealt with my probs face to face at shows and generally the one that is wrong will admit their wrongs and correct the problem.

Did Mr. Crutchfield say if he was going to come to the BOI to give his side of the story?

And as I previously said, I ordered some WC animals from his several years ago, and had zero problems with Tom or the animals. I'm just curious if Mr. Crutchfield has any plans on making an appearance here to defend himself in light of his past surfacing again.

I don't have issue with you. The owner and the moderators may have issue with you for your use of profanity in your posts though. I did my part as a fellow member to let you know it was not allowed nor accepted. I see you are new and I tried to guide you in the right direction. I don't know why you are getting so upset with me for being kind and informing you TWICE that you were in clear violation of the rules to posting on the BOI. Profanity and Third Party info is simply not allowed. I didn't make the rules.
 
OMG !!!!!! why is this happening?

Each time Tommy's named is mentioned on the b.o.i. for any reason, some one can say Tom is a good guy and after the first post it is a carbon copy of the last thread his name was mentioned. You guys have said your say leave it it has been said, over and over and yes over again. I can start a new thread about Tom right now and you guys would say the same stuff there. I'll give you a hint and it will save you some time, copy and paste your replys.

Tom did not make a mistake he flat out broke the law and in exchange he went to prison, paid some large fines and did his probation. Now Tom has had many, many great deals that were flawless and yes he had some bad ones but he has always made good. No dealer is perfect thet do make bad and flawed deals so with that said do we continue to bash them for it several years later?

Are all the people bashing Tom perfect? :shrug01:

Have you all ever gotten a ticket (which is breaking the law)? or antthing else that would be breaking the law, no matter how minor you think it is?

Most everyone will be going to the Daytona Expo so maybe just maybe you all can step up to Tom and I'll bet you he will fix the deal gone bad and for the people that have not dealt with him but still talk bad about him can be a man and walk up and say " Tom I don't like you because you broke the law". :thumbsup:
 
Well if Tom wanted to take care of this he could come here and post it publicly for all to see.

Joe as for phone calls when I had a problem with Tom he kept telling me in Emails that he'd call yet never did. Things are best taken care of here and in emails so there wont be any questions about what was and wasn't said... Randy
 
I disagree, if you have a prob deal with the person direct. If nothing else you get to adress the problem face to face. I will/would do it with anyone. If everyone has the nads then piost when and where u will be soooo Tommy can deal with the problem directly. Again, i will restate that the major prob here is that people will post whatever but deal with it indirectly. I know that if I was ripped off I would be looking for these peeps in person to get it settled. Why is everyone here so scared to settle these matters in person? I dang well(does thiS Mke make u happy). It is amaxing to me that most of the mods/freq visitors are unwilling to do this. I know that if I had a prob I would be looking out for thm in Daytona!!!

Well, it looks like Critical Bill exited when I asked him to call me. I guess he does not have the nads to do it. I have been nothing but nice other than say prof covered up but yet I know I will now be branded a bad guy. Have I said anything negative about anyone other than that one word that I typed that was restricted? Gimme a break here, The only thing I want is for herpers to get what they want in the condition that it is advertisided for? Really, Am I being an @#$?
