In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry Pastaves on kingsnake

pastave info

The pastave is the result of a pastel ball python and a mojave ball python.

A couple months ago a breeder produced an ivory ball (some people know them as leucistic) by breeding a platinum and a mojave.

There are two types of lucies. Black eyed and blue eyed. I THINK the black eyed lucies are solid white like that of a piebald.

It is still unknown whether these two lines are compatible.

From my knowledge there have been a few ways to produce the blue eyed lucies and only one way to produce the black eyed lucies.

Hope this helps.

Ivories and Leucistics aren't the same. The Leucistics have no pattern, and the Ivories have some yellow down their back.

Morph King produced 2 Leucistics from breeding a Lesser Platinum to a Mojave, and the Pastave is just a Pastel Mojave; so, they should throw Leucistics, aswell.

First Luecistic from Lesser x Mojave

Ivories and Super fires are both black eyed Luecistics but not compatible.
Mojaves, Lessers, Russo's, Phantoms and Butters are all compatible as far as I know.

Back when I was with MKR ..I produced the first Male Lesser x Mojave.
I got him along with the first Super Mojave and Most of the first Pastaves I
Produced as part of the Split of the business. I don't normally name my Snakes but this guy was special everytime I needed to take his picture he had always managed to roll in something! no matter how clean you keep a lucy's cage they show every bit of dirt and during breeding season forget about disturbing them "if you want good eggs". PIG PEN is the first Lesser Mojave cross, The picture at the link below was taken just a few days ago.

Black eyed Luecistics and Blue eyed Luecistics are not compatible but the cross could cause crazy cool broken gene expressions so someone please do it!!!!. It wasn't made public but last season I made a Pastel Super Mojave the only difference was there was more white on the head instead of grey.
I have a chance to produce Super Pastel Mojaves this season. If the name isn't taken I think Yellow Jackets would be a good name for them also The Barkers and I are Working on the Lavender Snow project ..I have three clutches due so maybe we will see a Lavender Snow this season.

P.S. I produced 3.0 Lesser x Mojave crosses and 0.1 Super Mojave the year I did the first breedings.

Wes, the yellow jacket name has been taken by Ian G.
It is the name for the pastel x black belly cross.
A killer snake that must be seen in person!
