thanks for that info! Did you happen to ask about driving over by chance? I live over in holiday(just above tarpon) and since it's not that far of a drive I would rather do that instead of having the animal spend time in transit with the shipping company.

I wasn't sure about that since I saw others still doing it like that but thanks for letting me know saves me some typing. He only has two left but one has perfect coloring to go with male which will give me a project for a couple of years down the road. But I will definitely let you guys know how the rest works out.

Well after the following threatening toned emails from this guy I would'nt likely do business with him. I contacted him concerning an ad he posted on KS which advertised Kenyan sand boa adults for $45 or less depending upon quantity. The picture in the ad was of Saharan sandboas not Kenyans. I just emailed him to let him know the animals pictured were not Kenyans, but Saharans. Read for yourself his responses to me.

I run a mutli million dollar business and don't need the petty comments from individuals. It wastes our time and productivity. Usually I would not even answer but I was in a pretty good mood tonight.
Feel free to come down sometime and check out our operation here, no hard feelings. And by the way, be careful of who you send your name too and your IP address. My family (and I in the past) have been in law enforcement. If that stuff falls into the wrong hands it can screw your life up. My wife was a victim of ID theft 9 years ago and it still effects her till this day.

Interesting. All I did was point out that your pictures were not Kenyans, but mulleri. You then decided to personally attack me. I have been keeping and breeding for 20 years and was just offering some friendly advice in the event that you weren't aware that your ad could be misleading. Wow, a multi million dollar business...good for you. Is that with the herps? If so, I didn't know there were more than a few making that kind of money, including Kim and Mark Bell, Brian Barcyzk, perhaps Kevin at Nerd and a handfull of others. I wish you the best of luck as well.

While I find this a very interesting it is completely opposite from what I have experienced so far. I realize people do act different when money is involved though. The part I find disturbing in your experience is the part about identity theft, is that friendly advice or an ideal threat. The only thing in my correspondence with him that could even be remotely construed as rude is the line about please call me later as I'm driving right now. And that I can completely understand cause I wont type and drive either. But here is my correspondence so far.

I can't find my first email but it was something to the effect of
"Do you still have any of the females? And if so can you send me some pics of them."

questions. First is how do we do this? The only other time I have bought
from the internet was from thedreamboa.com and they are close enough (30
min) I just paid them cash when I went to pick up the snakes. Second is your
ad for the suri's for 190 (noticed when I was looking to see if anyone had a
breeder female bci that looked like it would that project) , is that a
different batch or the same ones with no shipping charge?

No problem.
The ones I have left for 190 are babies. Only had the one male left. The others
which included shipping are yearlings and a lot bigger, around 32 inches.
You can pay through paypal, its easier for us that way since everything is
electronic. If you want to pick her up or have us bring her down that is fine.

He has been curtious so far and understanding and willing to work around the fact I work third shift. And as stated in one of my emails this is going to be the second internet transaction for me cause I still haven't completely got comfortable with the thought of mail order animals. I mean sure you can see a pic assuming it is the one actually sent but you only have thier word to go on as far as temperment which is a big issue with me. When my daughter comes down for visitation she likes to mess with my herps as well. I honestly like it that way cause atleast she will have the respect for them they deserve. But enough rambling I do appreciate the other vue on this though.

There's only one word that triggered his anger after your reply, guess which one it is? Some people handle criticism better than other, maybe you caught him in a bad day or maybe "Right" could have been omitted from your answer.

My "right" was an affirmative. I guess it is what we say around here. I was interested in buying some if they were Kenyans at that price. His comments about my "family or lack there of" was totally uncalled for. Also his threatening tone concerning identity theft left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I agree, some times emails are misinterpreted, but I think he went way to far with his comments. Not very professional, especially for someone with a "multi million dollar" business.
