    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

He sent an e-mail saying he had an Albino Western Hognose Male, but after I asked for full name and references, haven't heard anything back. Anyone hear of him before?

Anytime i see an aol address i look up the profile. I am 100% sure this is the infamous Jeremy Stark. Why? Well, everytime he makes a new profile he uses the same icon and the profile is in the same colors and it says he is from Independence. At least no money was lost this time.
 
Several things about the e-mail set of red flags.
First, rather than attaching a picture, he sent one imbedded in the e-mail, one that I could swear I had seen before, but couldn't place.

Second, maybe it is just me, but if I am attempting to sell an animal valued at $1000+ I sure as heck would be proffesional enough to spell out the word "you" in my e-mail and not use just the letter "u"

Third, my ad specifiacally said to let me know what was available and asking price. He simply sent "I have this Albino Hognose for sale, I will sell it or trade it to u, let me know."

Of course the clincher was when he failed to reply to my inquiry of his full name and asked for references.

I'm sure the "full name" request screamed of an BOI post, and he knew better than to pursue things any further.....

Ouch the spelling....

Sorry, trying to type a post while working, forgive the horrid spelling that of course I didn't notice until after I had hit submit......
