It is interesting you bring up the deal with Ralph. Although I nice thing to do for one person it is not an altruistic act. Obviously you want to butter up the big guys so when they sell their phantom, dreamsickle, lav albino etc... projects you are first on the list. I was always curious as to why Ralph never blasted him for tanking prices last year.

I disagree.

IF he is only giving away money so that he can make himself look not so scummy, to make his reprehenisble dealings in other areas look not so shabby, to improve his image to the general public, then no matter how much he gives it DOES NOT make him look like a good guy, even though that WAS what he was attempting to do.

Using the fact that he got Ralph a van at a great price makes the whole deal moot, no credit. When you do it for acknowledgment, while it counts to many, in the big picture, well...MY big picture which I know is shared by some, it counts not at all.

Every single one of my dealings with Rick has been a positive one. Regardless of his opinion on Joe, Rick's service (which is the subject on hand here) is outstanding. Rick is always there to answer a question, concern, and give an honest answer.

And on a side note, real friends don't let real friends drive Vipers. Everyone knows the real horespower is with TT 2JZ Supras.

C'mon guys. He said he is not partners with the object of your disaffection. Proof now boys. Put it up or shut it up.

For those who see the world in black and white only (you are reading this now and know who you are), have at it. For the rest of us who see shades of grey, there is nothing here to see except for someone who has provided good service to multiple customers (including me for a guaranteed het several years ago that proved out after I sold it) and has no "bad guy" issues who got some good deals from someone you don't like. And we see some "other guys" trying to make an issue where there is no proof that one exists.

If doing business with a "bad guy" makes you a bad guy the list of bad guys would be extremely long. Michael Cole, a good guy, admitted that he does tens of thousands of dollars of business a year with Allen Belcher, a guy who evidently sold an IBD infected snake. Double standard? Seems so.
