    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This is an ad he posted on Kingsnake:

My account is ending tomorrow! I need to move the possible het pied. Originally $450 now he is $250 shipped! Again, the price is low do to lack of paperwork. He also has a mark on his upper third of his body that lightens w/ every shed. The mother was 50-60% white and the father was 100% het. E-mail for pics. I accept PayPal, checks, or money order.


This should make the snake 100% het and not a possible. This is my first warning flag. The second is the price. If this was a 100% het for pied, why is it being sold so low?

I would agree. This would throw a warning flag for me also. There are many places that offer free classifieds. Here is the perfect example. Fauna offers free classifieds...what's wrong with posting it here. There is no reason to offer a het pied for $250, unless it was not a 100% het, which the ad states that it is even though the seller may not be that familiar with simple recessive genes, someone that is would know.

The second is the price. If this was a 100% het for pied, why is it being sold so low?

As mentioned in the ad, there is no paperwork, and that would be the ethical thing to do. I too have sold a female het albino boa that was about 6' for $100 because I was TOLD that it was het albino. I had no paperwork, therefore I sold her as a normal. I believed that was the ethical thing to do. I have yet to hear if she proved out, but this year she should if he breeds her.
