I'm very interested in purchasing some geckos from Shawn McVay of Stickyfeet Exotics. I'd be making time payments on a few geckos and wondered if anyone had any purchase experience with him?

I have dealt with Shawn on several occasions. I have always found him to be honest and a great person to deal with. I would have no trouble in dealing with him now or in the future.

I've been doing business with Shawn McVay for several years. I know him to be a very honest and trustworthy guy. All my dealings with him have been smooth and trouble-free. He has an awesome collection of geckos and ball pythons. I can't wait for him to start breeding some of the balls he has stashed away at his place.

I got a lot of my foundation stock from Shawn when I first started out and the animals were always exactly-as-described and healthy. My best male of all time, Popcorn, came from him and I am soon to have Popcorn's grandkids on site. Shawn is honest and helpful and I'm certain that you will have a pleasant experience dealing with him.
 
Bumping this thread as my fiance and I recently made a purchase from Stickyfeet Exotics that we're very pleased with. :)

We encountered the company at the very recent Daytona expo, and were very impressed with their beautiful geckos, particularly the cresties. Due to the health of the animals, and great prices, we bought two sexually mature females; one dark flame and one partial pinstripe.

As we live in Ohio, we arranged to have the geckos shipped and were offered a great price on this also. The geckos were sent by FedEx overnight on Wednesday at approximately 2pm, and arrived Thursday morning at 10.30am. We were kept very well informed as to the status of our order by email at every stage of the transaction process, and the geckos arrived in perfect condition. We were also kindly given two free bottles of T-Rex crested gecko diet as this is what the geckos are used to, and ensures they eat well in our care.

Although the geckos are still in quarantine (naturally) and a de-stress period, we've already offered them food by hand, which they gladly licked from our fingertips; proof of their sweet demeanors and docility. They've also been eating increasing amounts of food each night that passes, and appear to be adjusting wonderfully.

We're both extremely happy with StickyFeet Exotics and their beautiful animals, and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again, and would recommend them to anyone looking for geckos, either as pets or breeders.
 
I just wanted to add to my above comment. :)

The 30 day quarantine period we put all our new animals through is now over, and I am so thrilled with our geckos! Both girls are getting fat little tummies, are taming up incredibly well, and have been eating like pigs since the first week. Their colours are also developing very well, and they've shed at least twice since we've acquired them with no problems.

I am thrilled with our purchase and service, and couldn't be happier!
 
Follow-Up GOOD GUY!

I just wanted to followup from my original inquiry on Shawn McVay of Stickyfeet Exotics.

Shawn and I arranged for a 60 day payment plan (thank you Shawn!) and after completing payment I received my geckos. Both are just as he described and the striped gargoyle was even better than I could have imagined. Shawn was super great to work with, patient waiting for payments and sent the geckos right out after payment was completed.

I give Shawn McVay a THUMBS UP and would definitely purchase from him again.
