    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Yes, please any info on him will be great. He is emailing me and wants to trade some morphs for my spider ball python. I don't want to waste my time if he isn't legit. He did however send me pictures of the ball pythons that I requested and they weren't stolen pics looks very legit. Ill ask for more with an item in the picture and that'll give a general idea.

He wanted to trade my albino female for a 2500g het pied female and a 500g pastel het pied male. I couldn't determine if he was legit, and it sounded to good to be true. So I don't know either, I would like to know for sure though.
 
He might be legit because he offered me those exact same 2 snakes and after I forgot to respond to his last email, he I guess tried something else for those same snakes.

What kind of references can he provide?

Has anyone asked him about references? If he's dealing in that kind of product he has to have references of some kind. This business is too small for someone not to know someone. My experience tells me that an average Joe doesn't just go out and drop $5000-10,000 on some balls and not have anyone know them.

If he is legit and he can provide some decent references then the deal for the het Pied and Pastel het Pied would be an awesome deal to snatch up. I also wonder if he is the person who produced them if he has photos of his Pastel breeding his female Pied to prove that he did the breeding and also the female Pied sitting on the eggs as well as the babies hatching out.

Ask him for this information because if he can provide it then that's great, if he gets all pissed off then he's probably trying to pull a scam.
 
Guys, it really doesn't matter if he's legit or not, if you just follow this one simple step....

HAVE HIM SHIP HIS SNAKES FIRST!!.... period....

If you like them, THEN ship him yours.... How easy is that??

Oh yeah.... OBVIOUSLY, he has to send all the pertinent documentation along with the snakes, letters, bills of sale, pics, etc....

No matter who has ever asked me to trade with them (if I wanted the trade), they either shipped first, or I didn't do the deal.... I have NEVER been ripped off doing it this way....

Rule #2...Don't trade for hets from a new or unknown source.

It would suck to find out in 2 years that you traded for an ugly pastel and a normal that are het for nothing.
 
Oh geez, I didn't even notice they are HETS.... I thought you were talking about the real deal....

RULE #3.... Whoever decides to go through with this deal.... go have your head examined FIRST, and just before they commit you, THEN do the deal.... At least they'll have a REASON to commit you then....

I wouldn't even trust reputable dealers for hets.... why don't you just do the trade with Chris Johnson, I'm sure he'd be happy to oblige you....

Ed.... I guess I should rephrase that last statement.... There are VERY FEW of the "reputable" dealers I would trust with hets (YOU being one of them).... But when it comes to HETS, the buyer is only going to get a snake that looks just like a regular Ball Python (or whatever), and you have to rely on the seller that the genes are really in the snake.... it's the SELLER that has to be BEYOND REPROACH as far as honesty goes, and there aren't too many of them around (again, YOU being one of them).... ANYONE can fake a document, steal a picture of conception, breeding, laying of eggs or hatching, and "make" them their own.... Just look at what that "very reputable" Chris Johnson has done to so many people????
My point was (which I obviously didn't get across too well), there ARE a few VERY REPUTABLE dealers around that sell hets, so why on Earth would you go to Joe Schmo just to save some money??.... There's a saying that says, "The cheap become expensive".... If YOU were selling any HET for $2000, and Joe Schmo SAYS he has the SAME HET for $500, I would buy YOURS, no questions asked, and KNOW I'm getting the real enchilada.... In the long run, getting a REAL HET from a REPUTABLE DEALER (like yourself), will make you tons of bucks when you produce your first clutch, and more than make up for the extra $$ you spent....
Does THAT make any more sense??....

Um, kind of odd that he just happens to offer one person a 2500 gram het pied and 500 gram pastel het pied, and then in another offer, the snakes are a 2500 gram het albino, and 500 gram pastel het albino. Quite a conicidence, ain't it?

Not to mention that the "hets" he claims to have a market value of quite a bit more than the animals he is trying to trade them for....
 
He could be offering the same snakes to everyone because he is being denied by everyone so he "Has" those same snakes with an intention to trade for something.

Oh ok, wow, didnt sim through and notice that. Yeah, thats very odd that they are both het for something different. And Tony replies very quick with answers and he didnt reply to him bring in this thread yet. :shrug01:
