    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey Everyone, i have been downsizing slowly, and am looking for an impresive display animal, that is fairly calm and can come out and be held and pet every once in awhile, and doesnt mind daily interactions. Would anyone by chance now where i could pick up a Varanus Cumingi? Thanks

gotcha, it wasnt mentioned in your response so you left some vagueness there ...... Irregardless of the fact, a cumingi on someones shoulders raises a re flag to me rather than saying " oh how cool and tame, now I want one!" because if kept properly these animals are very unpredictable

nuance should be the word - Of course any animal is unpredictable... which is kind of pushing an open door mantra... experience show that unpredictability embeds different degrees of likelihood and severity.

No cumingi breeders as per my statement above, maybe someone willing to sell theirs might bite on your ad good luck

Cumingi

Your best bet would be Europe. They have the best examples of cumingi available from breeders in Europe. Finding a tame adult is close to impossible in the states as they are all wild caught. You will have to spend a few thousand on a baby with shipping and put the time and effort in and in a couple years you could have a tame cumingi. There was one on here for sale a few months ago only a couple months old and it sold for $900 quick. It was most likely a wild caught, but at this young age it would not matter. If you really want one send me your email and I can direct you to some people on a forum in europe who breed these.
