I've also done business with Wes. I sold him a sub adult albino boa several years ago when prices were considerably higher and the transaction went flawlessly. Prior to this deal, Wes only had positive BOI threads on me to trust his money would not be at risk.
As mentioned early on in this thread, I met Wes several times in person the weekend of the the NARBC Anaheim show 2 years ago. He went way out of his way twice (along with Laura Fopiano) and took the time to assist me in an attempt to get my animals back from Kim Felts. He had nothing to gain but the reward of knowing he was trying to help a fellow herper who had been ripped off.
I've also seen the quality of Wes's animals at his booth at the NARBC show. Each and every one of them appeared fairly priced, outwardly healthy, active, and were outstanding specimens. Had I worked with colubrids, there's no way I could have resisted buying one. They were that nice!
So, who is Wes Pollock to me? A guy that trusted a perfect stranger with his money, unselfishly offered help when needed, who sells gorgeous animals at great prices. Sounds like a good guy to me.
