    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Senegal or Flapneck, I believe, and definitely WC. How was it advertised?

From whom/where did you purchase it? Poor Senegals and Flapnecks are the most commonly imported chams and are very difficult to acclimate and maintain. That's why they are so inexpensive.

I can say it looks thin and stressed (and I'm sorry).

Give it privacy; not too much heat; do not handle and hydrate. Gut-load your feeders well.
 
I'm also going with Senegal. Very thin. Getting him rehydrated is your first priority. I'd let him take 15 minute showers, 3 times a day.
