In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

We got tired of Justyn ignoring our email requests for the refund he promised us, so we filed with Paypal today. If he can't refund a measley $61.00, I fear for you who are entitled to thousands!

Give me a brake, it was $16.00, which I have refunded. I am sorry it took a while, I've have not been close to the computer the past few days that often. As for the additional $45.00, that was a fee I charged you for shipping your package. If you must know it cost me over that amount for the shipping fee, boxes, bags, time, etc.

The package arrived late, I said I would only issue a refund to you is FedEx refunded me for late delivery. They did not refund me citing various issues.

As for Craig and Eric, there refunds will be sent out today along with tracking numbers.

So before you fire the shots Morgana why don't you please let everyone know what happened with this shipment? Yes, I was not able to to ship it out for several days, you did cancel an order of a few skinks (for $16.00). It arrived late, you choosed to miss a doctors appt and now your a trying to stiff me with the FedEx bill.

Regards,
Justyn

It would appear that what Justyn is saying in response to your post is that you received this order and are in possession of the animals. The only problem being the delivery arrived late which is something completely out of Justyn control. Something that you wish to refunded for because you had to miss a doctors appointment. I'm sure this package was sent overnight as you paid for, and I'm sure if the option for a guaranteed AM/PM delivery were available and you requested it for an additional charge over his flat shipping rate he would have sent it that way. FedEx does have such a service that you did not request so why should he be held liable for the expense of a late delivery that is simple beyond his control?

Also...if you accepted this order and have the animals why would you be filing for a full refund? The only thing I can see that Justyn might owe you is a sincere apology for the delay which was beyond his control and perhaps for being a bit too busy to communicate along the lines with you.

Can you explain your complaint better if I'm completely misunderstanding whats occurred here?

Justyn,
Give you a break? :NoNo:
I just got off the phone with FedEx (10:20 am pacific time), gave them the tracking number and asked about the refund. It has been issued to your account. Go check it for yourself.

So, if I could get the refund issued on your account by making a 2-minute phone call... then you must not have called them. It sure sounds like you didn't want to be bothered.

Everyone knows that the receiver is supposed to be there when the shipment arrives if they expect any guarantees to be honored, so I couldn't leave to go to my 1pm appointment. Your account of the transaction leaves other gaps, but I am not here to bend everyone's ear about other issues concerning our purchases from you - only the promised refunds.

I never tried to stick you with the shipping bill. I knew that FedEx would refund for non-performance, as I called them the day of the shipment and they agreed a refund was in order. We extend this courtesy if the carrier fails to properly serve our customers. It is only fair since one pays so much for the overnight service to begin with.

Guess that settles that.

As I e-mailed you showing the screen shot of the FedEx account and that shipment, I WAS NOT ISSUED A REFUND. Even if I was, I am not obligated to issue it to you as stated in my e-mail. I told you I would issue you a refund if/when I received one. I did make the call, 15 mins later, NO REFUND!! Then I had my wife make it, NO REFUND!

I owe you nothing. You received a healthy animal, if you did not we can talk.

She says FedEx stated they issued me a refund, buit I have no refund. I do not have an open account, I prepay each and every time. How would they issue a refund? We called them, no refund. I am sorry the package arrived late, it happens to me all the time, but as long as the animal is healthy I do not see an issue. Yes, I told her I would issue a refund if/when I get one from FedEx. We were told I was not, hence why I have not sent her a refund for $45.00.

Chuck, shut up.

Relax buddy boy. I made a sincere promise to an acquaintance here that seems very very fond of you in that I'd cut you some slack on this thread. If you'd rather stand on your own and piss that promise away just say the word. I think that person would tell you to shut up and get the refunds going before pond season ends and you find yourself up a creek with a crap reputation.

Have a good weekend Justyn.

Its simple. You dont owe her a refund for shipping. You did what was right. If she can furnish proof that a FedEx refund has been issued to you for her order then she can post that here and she will be entitled to a refund. If you refunded her $16.00 for the animals, and she is keeping the animals, then you already went above and beyond and I commend you for that. If you have a tracking number just send it into PayPal and the complaint will be canceled. They don't guarantee animals or the quality of any product thats received. You shipped it, she accepted it, case closed.

Good work. Don't slip on a rock building any ponds.

The $16.00 was for two skinks she ordered but then canceled. The order I sent was for a single juv. melleri.

As for slipping on rocks, got one better, I dislocated my shoulder IN TRAFFIC yesterday. It's a bit swore now, but wow, that hurt.
