Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well if it makes anyone feel any better there's an Egyptian exporter who hasn't gotten his $3700 payment for a shipment he sent Justyn either. Looks like you guys aren't the only ones he's been scamming.
So Justyn, you're getting (some) animals and not paying for them, taking money for animals and not shipping them or giving refunds. Where is the money going?

Randall's shipment was not from Egypt, it was Tanzania if I recall correctly.

If I have missed this exporter posting, forgive me. But even with all that has gone on here, 3rd party information is not allowed here, and I'd like to see some proof of this other than hearsay from someone making their very first post here. :shrug01:

You are also correct. Melody, you need to post the name of your source. Otherwise it is not allowed here on the BOI.
 
Well, it's not hearsay but I'm not going to post the exporter's name so you can delete it. No big deal.

Normally nothing gets deleted from the BOI. Perhaps you should have read the site rules before posting.
 
I filed a claim with paypal on May 24. As of now Justyn has not responded to paypal about the situation. I kind of figured he would hide from all this.

Jim, what rule is Melody breaking? If you're referring to the "anonymous third party quotation" I didn't interpret her post as a quotation as defined by the rules for posting on the BOI.

Saying something like "my buddy says you are a thief" is a third party quotation. There is no ownership to the accusation being made. Not allowed here. Let you buddy come in here and say it, otherwise it needs to remain unsaid.

Technically, Paul, you're probably right. She is taking "ownership" of that statement.

However, if she was going to refuse to provide any more info. about it, she would have been better off saying nothing. This is just my opinion, and not a statement about the truthfulness of her post.
 
So Paul, it would have been different if Melody had said "I hear that he owes...". Same thing, different words. That is what she is saying unless she was a party to the transaction. Unless she was such a party, then what she stated was indeed "hearsay" despite her statement to the contrary.

The "My buddy says you're a thief" is not acceptable. "You are a thief" is allowed (unless it it is a lie and then can be dinged for "abusive"). Different statements. You may be asked to back it up but clearly there is a difference. ""My buddy says you're a thief because you owe him $3700" would also not fly. That is essentially what Melody said. You want to make a technicality of, have fun. What she said may be true, but it was a dirty shot if she won't name names.

In my opinion, yes, it would have been different and I would agree that she would have been breaking a rule if she said that. But she didn't. I guess I've learned to differentiate between "essentially" and "technically" when determining whether or not someone is breaking a rule or before accusing them of such. I'm all for technicalities. Maybe it's an OCD thing. :shrug01: Anyway, I'm sure the super mods will do what they deem appropriate.
