In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i noticed some noices coming from my incubator last night and when i opened it to check it there he was...at 2.7 grams Neo seemed less than thrilled to be here (should have taken the blue pill).

He is the offspring of Spot from Marcia at Golden Gate Geckos and
Lillie from Rics Dragons and Serpents.

Im dying to see what this little guy (who was baked at 88-90 degrees for 40 days) will turn out to look like.

Great looking little guy....I love the "spot" inbetween his shoulders...very neat pattern.

I am living vicariously though you folks as my females have yet to drop their eggs....but soon, any day now and they look like they will explode anytime :)

Congrats again...

hmmmm...

Hey, Chad! Nice looking parents... should make for real nice offspring! What's with the faint spotting on "Spot?"

one egg?

one was bad. i have 4 more sitting in the incubator from this pairing. i think Lillies done laying this season, it being her first season. i also have another red stripe female that i got from rics dragons and serpents taht will be laying very soon from a pairing with Julius my screamer tangerine male. ive decided to take a picture of NEO once a week and post in on this thread to show the metamorphisis that these leopard geckos go through as they grow. i find it facinating.

marcia... as far as faded spots... what do you get when you cross an elephant with a rhino? elephino.

he did however just get seperated from the female (Lillie) a couple of days ago and those pictures were taken last night minutes before i posted them. sometimes those spots are darker...sometimes lighter. look at how rich the orange is on his tail... dark, dark orange. and he still has that signature black spot on the bottom of his tail.

two weeks old

here he is at two weeks old. you cant really tell in the picture but hes begining to develope alot more tangerine. im going to start taking pictures every two weeks however... i feel that every week might be too soon.

superhypo x hypo

I've contacted Ric from Rics Dragons and Serpents and confirmed that neos mother was in fact a super hypo as opposed to a hypo. this means all the eggs laid by her will at least be hypos. im excited. just thought i would share.

Hey Marcia,

any word on Spots lineage?

Spot's pedigree...

Chad, I will have to wait until I get all my paperwork back from the CPA to confirm his parentage. (Arrrgghh, TAX!!!) Like we discussed on the phone, if he is a Group 7 offspring, then his father is a hypo-tang from Ray Hine's lines and the mothers in that group are from Albey. They are all hypo-tangs with some degree of CT, but they are not necessarily "super" hypos or baldies, but they consistently produce supers.

Now, if Spot's a Group 3 offpring, then he is one of Logan's babies with either Lizzy or Leslie (on my breeder page). Logan's parental group is Group 7, so he is either Spot's brother or his father. BYW, the photo of Logan was taken when he was about 10 months old... he now weighs 102 grams!!!

they grow up so fast

heres Neo.... hes starting to grow a decent amount of carrot tail, it looks like.
