    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

LOL - Sorry for the corny title...I'm in a bit of a Holloween mood!

I have my first pair of stripes!! ( :dancer01: New Gecko Happy Dance :dancer01: )

Sorry...I just hit submit (to those who see a two line thread!)...

I got these from Hailey (IDgecko), and they look SO much better than the pictures. I am really happy with them. They are unrelated, which is even better. The female is a BEAUTIFUL bold stripe, and I hope her markings stay just as they are (I know color will still change). The male is a bold jungle/stripe produced from a stripe x red stripe breeding.

It's nice to have a new morph in the house. Next stop - Blizzard Ville (if I find some that are nice and white). That will probably wait til next year. Starting to get cold outside (Lows in the 40s next week!).

LOL! Thanks Wes, but I think I'll pass on those names. LOL I can't do standard people names for my pets. Amber is the closest I'll come...and that is in reference to her color.

Like,,, Spook, Morticia, Chaos, Cruella, Dementia, Salem, Lucifer, Ichabod, Lestat, Nosferatu, Malifacent, Phantom, Edgar, Reaper, Raven, Rasputin, Regan (The Exorcist), Samara (The Ring), VooDoo, etc. etc.

Names how about...

For the little female either Raya (which is Spanish for "stripe") or Listra (which is portugese for "stripe")

And the male Streifen (Which is German for the word "stripe")

Just an idea :)

Oh, I do like Raya and Raven....I'll have to think about it for a bit!

Heehee - and I'm still WAY addicted to the PAs...I must have more!!! I've always been a fan of the bold stripes and jungles...and now i have my own! They are just gorgeous!
 
IDGecko had emailed me on my Jungle inquiry here on Fauna. I have a trio of Jungles/Stripes on their way! :) I'm thrilled with the pictures...I'm going to be astounded when they get here!
 
Well, I've settled on Raya for the girl, but I'm still undecided on the guy. I'm considering the following:

Bacchus - Roman god of wine and partying
Vex - well, it's just cool sounding (and Halloween-ish)
Diablo - stick with the Spanish - the devil with a smile
