In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

MATT FISHER REPTILES

Hey, Matt!

Seems to be a few folks around Omaha....we get down that way once in awhile to visit some relation down there. ;)

Hey there- thought I would introduce myself- Names Ryan, I live in Ankeny right now- I currently have 2 female ball pythons 733 grams and 340 grams, 1 male ball 1010 grams, and 2 Diamond Carpet Pythons a male and female as of now- I have been trying to breed the male and large female ball this year, hopefully we have some results. I also want some morphs- prefer Spider or bumblebee- find them extremly attractive- but im content with my "normals" right now- Im facinated with snakes and reptiles in general- and love coming home from a hard day at work and "playing" with my snakes- I always seem to get in a better mood when I am around them- relaxing and at peace if you will- I have found myself watching them for hours- I am and will always be a snake owner- and look forward to talking and meeting with you all- take care Ryan

Hi, Ryan! :) Nice to see another Iowa herper!

One word of advice......733 grams is really much too small to be breeding a female. Most folks won't breed a female until they are at LEAST 1500 grams. Breeding too early can cause a lot of serious health risks.

Glad to help, Ryan. :)

Separating them is a very wise choice. I know how hard it is to wait......believe me, lol...I've got a couple of girls I REALLY wanted to breed this year, but they naturally went off feed and didn't make the cutoff. So.....they will have to wait til next year. As much as I wanted to get them going, I'm more concerned about keeping them healthy, because like you, mine are all pets first and foremost. ;)

just because it's fun to pick nits - he said he is from Nebraska...not that he is still there :>poke2<:
then again...he registered a little over 5 yrs ago - maybe he was in NY, but got lost in NE?

Fellow lover's

Hi guy's, my name is Allan Hill, and I'm in the Des Moines area. It would be great to know more people that are closer to home. I already know a few people here that have a love reptiles, and would like to know more.

Omaha, here. :) I have CFS, so don't get out to do stuff very often, though. Will make it to the fall show here. Depending on how things go with the clutches here, we might look into getting over to the Iowa show this year, too. I'm in the Neb Herp society, but haven't managed to make it to any meetings yet. I am planning to look around the spring show, I like seeing what folks have, even if I can't afford anything then. lol

Im from Norfolk, Ne and went to the show in Des Moines! It was great! I purchased a 2010 pin male to add to my collection that consists of 1.1 spiders, 1.1 pastels, 0.1 butter, 0.2 normals, 1.0 albino, 0.1 het albino, and 1.0 pin. Hope to have eggs this upcoming season! Great to see so many people interested in ball pythons around here! I just love chatting about ball pythons!

BALL PYTHON WANTED: I'm looking for someone within a reasonable driving distance with ball pythons, my son is wanting one, since his passed away of old age this week.

Preferably a spider or other inexpensive visible morph.

We have several different items to trade such as feeders and a kitchen table/chairs, barstools, and antique glass bottles (pop, beer, medicine).

Please email me and let me know what you have!

Thanks,
Josh
