    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

iPad, Safari, Fauna chat...

I'm playing with my sisters new IPad, very cool. So I tried to get into fauna chat with it and it told me I had to use a compatible browser. Bummer! iPads browser is Safari which apparently is not compatible. Any one know a way around that? Some way to convince Safari it is a compatible browser?
 
go into the app store and download a different browser? might also be a "java" problem.

on my phone it says "Faunaclassifieds Chat Client requires a Java Compatible web browser to run! Please use new and compatible a browser to join our chat room.." so just need to get a java compatible web browser. i dont know what browsers are on the apple app store, but i know "Dolphin" doesnt work on my droid.

I'm sure I can talk her into that! LOL! Whats really bad is~ I'm actually sure I CAN talk her into that! So thanks for the info~ I'll get that password and get right onto downloading a new browser now that I see it's possible (new to all these nifty toys I didn't realize I had a choice of other browsers!)

I searched (have been searching since I got the Pad) for compatible browsers, and I have downloaded iCabMobile without success. The search for a compatible browser that was also I-Pad compatible doesn't seem to exist.

No. iPhone OS 3.2 will not support Java. The iPhone does not support Java. Steve Jobs has been quoted as saying "Java's not worth building in. Nobody uses Java anymore. It's this big heavyweight ball and chain."

Java fans should not expect Apple to reverse this long-standing decision on the iPad.

My vision has been getting worse over time but suddenly got really bad, I had my blood sugar tested and it was almost 400 and the reason why I have blurry double vision. I hope to be seeing a doctor soon to get this under control.

I'm glad you are being proactive about this. I have had friends lose limbs to this disease.

The upside is when you get it under control, you'll find out that you don't have half as many animals to take care of as you thought!:thumbsup:
